Public Service Announcement

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be absent probably until next Thursday, 10/11/2007. I've got some pressing issues that need to be addressed and need the time to straighten things out. Not to worry, I'm in good health and no, they're not throwing me in jail... least not yet anyway :)

Also, I've been putting together a new selection of music for the MoFiZiX MuZiX jukebox. Hopefully I'll have it all together by time I return. Until then, you good folks will have to hold the fort.

Dominus Vobiscum,
Mo

Russia Warns Against Space Weapons

Thursday, September 27, 2007 10:26 AM

MOSCOW -- The chief of Russia's space forces on Thursday said Moscow would have to retaliate if others deploy weapons in space -- a stern warning to the United States.

While Col.-Gen. Vladimir Popovkin did not name any specific country, he was clearly referring to U.S. plans for space-based weapons, which the Kremlin had vociferously opposed.

"We don't want to wage a war in space, we don't want to gain dominance in space, but we won't allow any other nation to dominate space," Popovkin said in televised remarks. "If any country deploys weapons in space, then the laws of warfare are such that retaliatory weapons are certain to appear."

President Vladimir Putin has criticized U.S. plans for space-based weapons, saying it could trigger a new arms race.

When China tested an anti-satellite missile in January, Putin said that the move was a response to U.S. plans for space-based weapons.

Russia and China have strongly pushed for an international agreement banning space weapons, but their proposals have been stymied by the United States.

"It's necessary to legalize the game rules in space," Popovkin said. He warned that the complexity of space weapons could trigger a war.

Police Find Swastika Cut Into Acres Of N.J. Cornfield
Swastika In Same Area As Others Found 8 Years Ago

POSTED: 3:53 pm EDT September 24, 2007
UPDATED: 10:19 pm EDT September 24, 2007

Back behind the towering corn is a message that can only be seen from the air.

It is one of the most infamous symbols of hate -- a swastika -- cut into acres of cornfields in Washington Township, Mercer County.

A New Jersey State Police helicopter on a routine maintenance mission made the discovery Friday.

The swastika was located off of Hankins Road, near where similar swastikas were found in July 1998 and June 1999.

No arrests were made in the previous cases.

Investigators found that the most recent swastika appeared to have been hand-cut and covered an area of several acres.

"This should be in the past, and we should have learned from our mistakes, and to bring up something that brings back such awful memories, I think, is disgusting," said Joe Pica, whose property is one of many that border the fields.

Monday, neighbors said they hope it was kids who didn't know any better.

Oh, for the love of St. Pete!!!

As a traditionalist Catholic living in America, I consider myself someone who stands apart from many others in this country who are appearing more and more as Catholics in name only or CINOs. I find it appalling, that many of them think most priests are pedophiles, priests should be allowed to marry, women should be priests, all war and capital punishment is evil, God is excepting of homosexuality, and human life doesn't really begin until childbirth. I also find it equally disturbing when I hear them rag about how Pope Benedict XVI is some right wing nazi who is unsympathetic to progressive Catholic views. Frankly speaking, Catholicism should have never evolved into its present day format, but what liberal Catholics are failing to realize is that 40 years ago, Fr. Joseph Ratzinger was instrumental in orchestrating the progressive transformation of the Church known as the Second Ecumenical Council of the Vatican, or Vatican II.

Even though Pope Benedict has said that Vatican II did not accomplish what he originally intended, he is determined to hold fast to the new dogmatic principals.

Well, it appears that "God's Rottweiler" has for some time now been espousing philosophies which leave me a bit unnerved and without proper clarification might cause an even larger rift between conservative capitalists and the socialists within the Church.

Pope to make climate action a moral obligation
By James Macintyre
Published: 22 September 2007

The Pope is expected to use his first address to the United Nations to deliver a powerful warning over climate change in a move to adopt protection of the environment as a "moral" cause for the Catholic Church and its billion-strong following.

The New York speech is likely to contain an appeal for sustainable development, and it will follow an unprecedented Encyclical (a message to the wider church) on the subject, senior diplomatic sources have told The Independent.

It will act as the centrepiece of a US visit scheduled for next April – the first by Benedict XVI, and the first Papal visit since 1999 – and round off an environmental blitz at the Vatican, in which the Pope has personally led moves to emphasise green issues based on the belief that climate change is affecting the poorest people on the planet, and the principle that believers have a duty to "protect creation".

What can I say? I love my Church and I am committed to following its teachings, but this latest directive from the Pope is leaving a horrible taste of sulfur in my mouth. Enviro-mental-illness is typically a leftist agenda and to hear this guy come out in defense of "green" issues in this fashion is literally scaring the bejezus out of me. I mean, WTF? Is my beloved Pope being demoniacally possessed by Algore???

Doesn't the Pope realize that capitalism is the economic powerhouse which fuels charitable contributions in the first place? Doesn't the Pope know how his directives will be used by the environmental propagandists to push their godless and socialist agendas? Doesn't the Pope realize that by working to change the hearts of men consumed by greed, he can promote compassionate capitalism which in turn can help others to help themselves instead of living the rest of their lives as slaves to welfare and entitlement systems of socialism?

Pope Benedict XVI should instead be making it clear that socialism without God at the center is nothing more than atheistic communism which seeks to enslave the human race!

I can understand if he's concerned that humans should be more charitable and I can understand if he's concerned that humans should be more conscious of conserving natural resources. As I have said in the past; I am a conservationist, not an environmentalist. The conservationist is mindful of not trashing his surroundings or squandering its resources. I believe in sound and practical environmental management. I am dead set against littering. I also believe in giving back to the earth what I take. But to suggest that I or even the largest corporation on earth can have any impact on altering global climate trends is pure folly! When you think of the levels of carbon dioxide man contributes to our atmosphere compared to that which comes from volcanoes and all the oceans around the world, how can anyone possibly think that by our efforts, we can make any significant change?

Here, allow me to share with you the show that has pissed off the enviro-mental-patients, blown away the theory that man-made CO2 has anything to do with global warming and that all this enviro-mental-madness is absolute bunk...

The Great Global Warming Swindle

Navitor69 | MySpace Video

Not surprisingly, all the nut cases who worship at the church of Algore have issued a fatwah pledging holy jihad against the scientists and the makers of this television series. The internet is full of condemnation over it and the lies being thrown out there to discredit the documentary speak volumes on the character of the people against it.

To purchase the entire DVD, go to http://www.greatglobalwarmingswindle.co.uk/dvd.html

Ultimately, what I see going on here is another misguided attempt by the Church to increase the numbers of faithful by appealing to the trend of the day. This is not unlike the attempt that was made back 40 years ago when Vatican II was instituted. By loosening the orthodox principles on which our Catechism was founded, you inevitably risk sacrificing the strength of the Church as a whole.

Living in the same glass house...

After posting about John McCain's hypocracy in his comments about Rudy's Second Amendment stance, I happened to be reading a post over at SondraK's site which reminded me about Fred Thompson's support of McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform.

Fred Thompson's big huge zit

Fred Thompson finally made clear his position on the statist campaign finance restrictions embodied in the McCain-Feingold bill. And conservatives are clearly not going to be pleased.

When the former star of TV’s “Law and Order” series and newly-minted presidential candidate spoke to reporters on the porch of the Grand Hotel here, I asked Thompson whether he was proud of his role in enacting the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation in ‘01.

“Yes," replied the former Tennessee senator without hesitation.

To be honest, I completely forgot about his involvement in getting that legislation passed through the Senate. In researching this flub on Thompson's part, I found a post over at Michelle Malkin's site, HotAir.com, that has an interview between Fred Thompson and Laura Ingraham, where Laura grills Fred over his support of the McCain-Feingold bill.

Link: sevenload.com

As for the rest of the article from Human Events, Thompson goes on to admit that the reform bill did not produce the results he expected and states that he intends to revisit the details of that piece of legislation which many conservatives agree was one of the worst infringements on America's right to freedom of speech in recent history.

..."You will recall that the central part of the legislation was getting rid of soft money [from the political process]." He then went on to remind me that he came from a background in the private sector and, in that sector, it would have been thought unseemly for "hundreds of thousands of dollars" to be poured in to influence someone's decision. In the public arena, "it got to be the norm" because of the soft money, upon which there were no limits for donations to the two major political parties." The contributors, he said, would then, "harass legislators before they vote on anything. This was not a good idea."
Continued

Thompson went on to remind me that it was his amendment to McCain-Feingold that, "raised the hard money index" and he was also proud of that.

If there is anything in McCain-Feingold that "has not worked out," he went to say, it is "placing limitations on ads [by independent groups] in the [political] process. Thompson hinted that he would support legislation to change this, since "the Supreme Court has better things to do with its time than hear cases on unfair limitation." (Earlier this year, by a decision of 5-to-4, the Supreme Court struck down parts of McCain-Feingold that dealt with limiting ads by independent groups.) He also said that the landmark campaign finance legislation he held shepherd to passage (and which President Bush signed in '01) has created a larger bureaucracy to enforce regulations and "that part hasn't worked out."

*snip*

I do hope that he is sincere about fixing that ridiculous law and hopefully he will avoid throwing stones in glass houses or slipping in any hypocritical piles of dog shit as well. That being said, IMO, Fred would still make a damned good and strong leader.

Those who live in glass houses...

It appears to me that presidential hopeful, Senator John McCain likes throwing stones inside his little house of glass. During an NRA gathering to hear the GOP candidates tout their positions on the second amendment, Rudy Giuliani tried desperately to mask his left of center view on the subject to which many of the other candidates and pundits found an opportunity to throw stones of ridicule at him. Of course, there is always one in the crowd who slips in his own hypocritical pile of dog shit.

GOP rivals take aim at Giuliani

By Joseph Curl
The Washington Times
September 22, 2007

A cell-phone call interrupted Republican presidential hopeful Rudolph Giuliani in midspeech at an NRA forum at the Capital Hilton in Washington yesterday. It was his wife, Judith.

Rudolph W. Giuliani yesterday assured members of the National Rifle Association he would protect their Second Amendment rights while his rivals for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination criticized his inconsistent record.

*snip*

Yesterday, there were people all around him — in the audience and, one by one, at the podium — who did not agree with him. Sen. John McCain of Arizona struck first, telling group members they need to "dig into a politician's record to find out where they really stand."

*snip*

"dig into a politician's record to find out where they really stand."

Oh really? Ok, lets start with a little piece of legislation, dear to the hearts of all NRA members called the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Act of 2002.

Someone, please remind me;

why do I continue to stay
in this bass akward state?

I don't want to single out Mexicans here, but honestly folks, if I didn't know any better, I'd swear I'm beginning to feel like I live in a Mexican border state. Everywhere I go anymore, everything is including Spanish translations and no, I don't want to press 1 to continue in English!!!

Just this week, our enlightened new dummycrat governor, Elliot Spitzer decided that proof of US citizenship should no longer be required to obtain a New York State drivers license!!!

N.Y. Drops Citizenship Proof For Driver's Licenses
Move Should Cut Down Unlicensed Illegal Immigrants

Andrew Kirtzman
Reporting

(CBS) NEW YORK They were celebrating outside the governor's office Friday as Eliot Spitzer handed a landmark victory to a half-million illegal immigrants.

The state will no longer require proof of citizenship for driver's licenses.

"We're changing our policy with respect to getting more people out of shadows and into the system so people don't hide they're here," Spitzer said.

He said the current restrictions on non-citizens have filled the roads with unlicensed drivers five times more likely to get into accidents.

But the also called it a matter of justice.

"As long as I'm governor we won't pretend they don't exist, cut them off from society," Spitzer said.

*snip*

A MATTER OF JUSTICE?!?! This coming from the man who was so determined to uphold the law when he served as NYS Attorney General and was literally on a crusade to prosecute criminals? Oh, I'm sorry, immigrants entering the United States and living in New York must have nothing to do with large corporations or individuals making huge profits. Ok, that 'splains it. By any chance, I wonder if his divine inspiration came from political intimidation by the same bunch of American hating libtards involved in this ridiculous lawsuit...

NY Suit Seeks to Stop Immigration Raids
Sep 21 09:35 AM US/Eastern

Lawsuit: 'Operation Return to Sender' Violates Constitutional Protections

NEW YORK (AP) - Immigration authorities violated Hispanic families' civil rights by raiding their homes without court warrants, sometimes bursting in before dawn to look for people who didn't live there, according to a federal lawsuit.

The suit was filed Thursday on behalf of 15 people—including seven U.S. citizens—who say their suburban homes were raided earlier this year.

Arguing that the raids violate constitutional protections against unreasonable searches, the suit seeks unspecified damages and a halt on the home raids until Immigration and Customs Enforcement develops legal guidelines for them.

Mark Thorn, an ICE spokesman, said the agency does not comment on pending lawsuits.

According to the lawsuit, a program dubbed Operation Return to Sender dispatched armed federal agents to homes in search of illegal immigrants thought to have lingered after being ordered to leave the country. But the people sought often weren't there and couldn't "reasonably" have been expected to be, the lawsuit said.

*snip*

Given that, plus the absurd notion, as my hero Claire mentions over at SondraK's website, that today's Hitler of the Islamo-fascist movement is being allowed to set foot on NY soil - much less American soil - just begs me to ask somebody out there; WTF am I staying here for??? Someone... anyone??? Please tell me!!!

I've Just Had an Epiphany!

Paying dearly to hear Gore's climate story

Ben Doherty and Marian Wilkinson
The Age
September 20, 2007

AL GORE has a story he wants to tell the world. But it will cost you a thousand dollars to hear it.

In a passionate attack on the climate policies of Prime Minister John Howard and US President George Bush, the former US vice-president, addressing a very expensive lunch in Sydney yesterday, called Australia and the US "the Bonnie and Clyde" outlaws of the global environment for their failure to ratify the Kyoto Protocol.

Mr Gore called on Australia to change course on Kyoto and its climate policies, saying if it did "it would be impossible for the United States to withstand the pressure" to join the rest of the world in ratifying Kyoto.

Labor under Kevin Rudd has promised to ratify the protocol while Mr Howard is adamantly opposed to it and is backing Mr Bush's efforts to find a "post-Kyoto accord".

Mr Gore made his comments after reporters were asked to leave the lunch venue. Despite the cost, lunch in the 700-seat room at the Sydney Convention Centre was a sell-out, as is tomorrow's event in Melbourne. VIP packages, which included a spot close to Mr Gore and a meet-and-greet with him, cost $25,000.

With Liberal Party members allegedly warned off attending, yesterday's lunch was something of a Labor Party affair. Mr Gore paid tribute to two Labor Bobs present — Hawke and Carr — praising the former for the hole-in-one he hit while playing with Mr Gore earlier in the day, and the latter for his commitment to the environment.

Mr Gore earlier met NSW Premier Morris Iemma, who brought with him Maxine McKew, Labor's candidate in the federal seat of Bennelong, who also attended the lunch. Ms McKew said that Mr Gore was well informed about Australian politics and knew of her run for the Prime Minister's seat.

"He said to me, 'I've been talking to Bob Hawke about you, and I've been reading about you.' "

After his salutations, Mr Gore got down to business. The ballooning world population and the dizzying pace of technological change had helped turn mankind into an environmental "bull in a china shop", he said.

That the world's population had quadrupled in the past 100 years partly explained this. Technological change had also had a significant impact on "this shell of the environment that surrounds our planet".

He went on: "In the last three weeks, the amount of ice melting in the Arctic has been completely unprecedented. In only six days an area the size of the US state of Florida disappeared; in the week before that, an area almost twice the size of Britain disappeared.

"It's melting 10 times faster than previously recorded. Experts are now saying that if we don't act with urgency, the entire ice cap could be completely gone in less than 23 years."

Mr Gore said that despite all the scientific evidence about climate change, inaction still ruled among governments and business.

Raising his voice almost to a shout, he said climate change was not scientific, political or ideological.

"It's about survival."

My epiphany is this: Algore is not an idiot... insane, maybe, but not an idiot. The fools who give up $25,000 to hear him drone on about bad science, skewed data, and enviro-mental demagoguery are the idiots... as well as insane!

Alcohol May be Hazardous to Your Health

Man Bit By Rattlesnake After Putting It in His Mouth to Impress Ex-Girlfriend

Associated Press
Wednesday, September 19, 2007

PORTLAND, Ore. — Snake collector Matt Wilkinson of Portland grabbed a 20-inch rattler from the highway near Maupin, and three weeks later, to impress his ex-girlfriend, he stuck the serpent in his mouth.
He was soon near death with a swollen tongue that blocked his throat. Trauma doctors at the Oregon Health and Science University saved his life.

"You can assume alcohol was involved," he said. Actually, not just beer. It was something he called a "mixture of stupid stuff."

Calls from cable network television stations poured in Tuesday, when he still had sore muscles and nerves from the venom.

It happened at a barbecue with friends.

Wilkinson, 23, had downed a six-pack and his ex-girlfriend asked him for a beer. He handed her one, not realizing the snake was also in his hand.

"She said, 'Get that thing out of my face,'" Wilkinson said. "I told her it was a nice snake. 'Nothing can happen. Watch.'"

So he stuck the snake in his mouth.

"It got a hold of my tongue," he said.

He was having breathing problems when his ex-girlfriend drove him to the hospital. "She was the only one sober," Wilkinson said.

En route, they spotted a police car and asked for help.

His next memory, he said, was waking up at the hospital.

Doctors could not get a breathing tube down his throat.

Dr. Richard Mullins cut a hole in Wilkinson's neck to insert the breathing tube. Physicians started giving antivenin, moved him to intensive care and kept him sedated until the swelling went down.

The Poison Control Center sees about 50 people a year with snake bites, usually hikers. Deaths from rattlesnake bites in Oregon are extremely rare.

Wilkinson, who works in construction, has yet to return to work. His three Western diamondback rattlers have been removed from his home.

He says co-workers have been pretty blunt.

"They were like, 'What the heck were you thinking?'" Wilkinson said.

The answer? "It's my own stupidity."

Now that's gotta be one hangover he'll never forget!

I think I'm gonna get sick...

then again, I hope I don't!!!

With Queen Rodham perched out there on her stump looking to garner support from an entitlement minded left-wing base by making a fresh pitch for her glorious "healthcare for all" program scheme if she becomes elected, someone else was seeding a story in USA Today about a similar measure that could be a reality before the end of next year.

...Clinton unveiled her plan as Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt said President Bush wants to achieve universal health care before he leaves office.

Leavitt told the USA TODAY editorial board that Bush will veto a Democratic plan emerging from Congress that would add $35 billion in taxpayer subsidies to the Children's Health Insurance Program over five years. In doing so, Leavitt said, Bush will urge Congress to join him in seeking coverage for all Americans.

"He'd like to see the larger debate begin," Leavitt said. "The very best opportunity we have may well be in the next 15 months."

*snip*

What, in God's name is he up to now??? What more can this guy do to kill off any support we have left for him??? Going after bad guys in the WOT was great and for that reason alone we are indebted to him - along with all of our brave men and women who are doing the actual ass kicking. But when he refuses to veto any non-military spending bills, allows liberals to construct legislation for education, pushes amnesty for illegal aliens, expands medicare to unheard of levels and proposes to establish universal health coverage for 300M+ people...

and just who does he expect to pay for it?!?!

Here we go again folks!

Time for America to bend over and assume the position???

Alright, who is this guy who looks so much like the President Bush? You know, the one we elected for a second go-around back in 2004. When did they off the real GW and what did they do with body??? Should we be checking the grounds over at Fort Marcy Park???

LOOKING FOR AN ASS WUPIN'?

Back in May, I felt it was necessary to ask the question: "How long must we wait???"

Here we are, four months latter and I am still asking the same question. With Islamic fascists in both Iran and Syria openly assisting insurgent attacks on our military in Iraq, actively working toward the destabilization of its government, threatening the destruction of our allies in Israel, and working feverishly on a weapons program intended for that very purpose, exactly WTF are we waiting for?!?! While Bashar Assad of Syria is being emboldened by asshat American apologists and liberal appeasers, that little bastard Ahmadinejad is becoming more and more cocky every day as he continues to thumb his nose at the US and the rest of the world with respect to his nuclear ambitions.

Iran's Ahmadinejad defiant amid nuclear warnings

TEHRAN (AFP) — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday declared Iran had mastered nuclear technology and would never yield in the face of international pressure over its atomic drive.

Ahmadinejad's comments in an interview with Iranian television were broadcast hours after French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner warned the world should brace for war over Iran, although he did not react to those remarks.

"Of course we will not step back," said Ahmadinejad in the interview with Iran's Farsi language international channel Jam-e Jam in response to a call-in question by a viewer.

"We have mastered the technology to enrich uranium and we have arrived at an industrial stage," he added.

"The West are talking about imposing sanctions on us. But they cannot do this," he added.

The Iranian leader repeated a demand for a public debate with US President George W. Bush to "discuss important global issues with the aim of resolving them."

"I had already suggested this the previous year. I am going to New York. Let us sit down together and hold discussions. But not behind closed doors. I have suggested that we discuss these global issues at the UN General Assembly to resolve them.

*snip*

Yeah, right, lay it at the feet of the UN General Assembly. That will be about as effective as trying to get milk from a bull. As witnessed by the UN's ineffectiveness against Saddam Hussein prior to us going over there and giving him the proper ass kicking he deserved, UN deliberation has become nothing more than a decoy for dictators to buy time. Meanwhile, every day that passes gives them more opportunity to prepare for the inevitable which ultimately will translate in more casualties for us. I can only pray that we don't make the same mistake we made in 2003 by giving our enemy such a dangerous advantage.

Reason #1,000,003 to vote for Fred

Fred Thompson speaks out on immigration issues

Jim Stratton | Sentinel Staff Writer
The Orlando Sentinel
7:19 PM EDT, September 14, 2007

On his campaign swing through Florida, Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson has hammered away illegal immigration, saying that America must secure its borders to ensure national security.

Friday, he went a step further.

Thompson, a former senator from Tennessee, said it might be time to reconsider the country's long-standing practice -- one prescribed by the Constitution -- of granting citizenship to any child born on U.S. soil.

"That law was created in another time and place for valid reasons," Thompson said during a campaign stop here. "It probably needs to be revisited."

*snip*

As I have stated back on June 12th with respect to immigration reform legislation...

"The only legislation that should be getting pushed through Congress is one that strengthens our borders with fencing, electronic surveillance, and a strong military presence, one that forces state and local municipalities into compliance with federal immigration guidelines, one that mandates stiff penalties for those who harbor or employ those who are here illegally, and one that demands immediate deportation of these people back to their country of origin without any possibility of ever returning to the United States unless their lives are threatened by severe reprisal from their home government …AND NO MORE ACCEPTIONS FOR ANCHOR BABIES!!!"

Thanks Fred, you sure are working hard to make my difficult choice a lot easier :)

OMG!!! Now what do I do???

This morning I awoke to a dilemma. It appears that one of my all time favorite conservatives has decided to, once again, enter the race for Republican Presidential Nominee. Alan Keyes, former Ambassador to the U.N. under Ronaldus Maximus, has long been a champion of conservative principles, is a man of great tenure and would undoubtedly make one of the most remarkable presidents our country has ever know. IMO, his conservative stand on the issues dwarf all other candidates for president, including Fred Thompson... hence, my dilemma.

As I mull the difficult decision over in my head as to who I will support for the Republican Presidential Nomination, there is only one issue that stands apart from all others. The problem is not so much in who I feel will best represent my values in the office, but who will be the most viable candidate to defeat the Democrat contender in 2008. After careful though, I must wait and see how effective these two candidates are in their campaigning, poling and fund raising. Time will tell and whomever the victor is, will be the one to whom I will pledge my full support.

Innocence for Sale

After hearing about the pig-on-parade performance by Britney Spears last night at the MTV Music Awards, I couldn't help but feel sorrow for this obviously miserable human being. For the past several years, this girl has been the a prime target for many who just love to heap mountains of criticism on her. Don't get me wrong here, most of it has been very well deserved. It's just that if you look at her today and read about all of the self made misery she has in her life, you just can't help but wonder what drove an innocent young girl from a southern Baptist community to become the pop music industry's poster child for out of control moral depravity.

As a child, Britney was a talented gymnast in state competitions, a performer in local dance revues and a singer in her local Baptist church choir. At eight years old, she tried out for Disney's "The New Micky Mouse Club" and after studying performing arts in NYC, she eventually made it on the show. A few years later she was signed on by a record company and began her moral downward slide. Once she turned eighteen, she became instant fodder for millions of horny males spending hours on line wacking off to photos of her in numerous sexually provocative poses. If I remember correctly, she was even reported once as being the most Googled name on the internet. The racier she posed, the more attention she got. The more attention she got, the more money she and her keepers made. Quite literally, she became a multimedia whore.

This is by no means a unique story. On the contrary, this allure of rising to fame and fortune seems to be the result of typical baiting tactics used by the entertainment industry. Record companies pimp these young starlets onto the emerging generations hoping to reap millions in profits and keep fresh talent fueling their genre of perversion through music videos, teen magazines and television programing that pushes the envelope on FCC regulation on a daily basis.

Now, it must be said that by no means am I claiming to be some virgin eared, doctor of morality. Quite the opposite. When I was in high school, I got into some seriously satanic music and then I got involved in the punk rock scene. Eventually I grew up after some hard knocks but never have I ever seen so mush focus on sexuality from the entertainment industry. Where the punk scene was all about in-your-face anger, the pop scene is all about in-your-face SEX... and lots of it! As a parent of four with two being very young and impressionable girls, I am genuinely concerned and apprehensive about what kind of sleaze influences their lives - REASON #1,536 FOR HOMESCHOOLING :)

The result of years of marketing this in-your-face sex to our kids has become more and more evident as we see a sharp increase in the number of statutory rapes, child abductions, sexual assaults, and child pornography. Every time I see little school girls (not just high school kids) dressed like prostitutes, I can't help but think about where they learned to show such little respect for themselves. Yes, I blame the Britney Spears of the world, but even-more-so I blame the industry that corrupted their souls and bread them for sexual entertainment in the first place... all for the almighty dollar.

....................

At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven. And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.

9 More Reasons to Vote for Fred

With the possibility of another SCOTUS opening being a reality within a few years, the next POTUS to occupy the White House will certainly have an important roll in shaping the future of our federal judicial branch of government. As some of the most important social issues in our country's history make their way to the steps of the Supreme Court, we will need at least one more strict constructionist judiciary in place in order to prevent liberal/globalist decisions from destroying our Constitution.

I just so happens that two of these Supreme Court Justices, responsible for many of the most liberal SCOTUS decisions, are also the two oldest. John Paul Stevens, the eldest of the nine at 87, was appointed by Jimmy Carter in 1975 and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, second eldest at 74 and former General Council of the ACLU, was appointed by B.J. Clinton in 1993.

With Fred Thompson now having officially thrown his hat in the ring as a Presidential contender, his stance on the sensitive nature of our Constitution therefor becomes a priority issue. IMO, Fred believes deeply in the sanctity of our Constitution and knows that the only way of protecting it is to appoint strict constructionist judges to federal court positions.

From NewsMax:
Thompson Fires Away on Abortion, Gay Marriage

Saturday, September 8, 2007 1:44 PM

Don't punish women who have abortions," presidential hopeful Fred Thompson says. Punish the doctors who perform them.

Authorities "can do whatever they want to with abortion doctors, as far as I'm concerned," the former Tennessee senator said while campaigning in Western Iowa according to the Los Angeles Times. But "if it comes down to giving criminal sanctions to a 19-year-old girl and her mama, I'm against that."

While acknowledging that as lawyer and lobbyist, he worked in 1991 and 1992 for a group fighting restrictions on abortion counseling he said that once in the Senate he "voted against these people and everything they were interested in," he said.

Speaking to crowds during his Iowa appearances, Thompson revealed his views on a variety of issues, including activist judges, gay marriage and illegal immigration.

· Thompson chastised those judges in Iowa, Massachusetts and other states for rulings that opened the way to same-sex marriage, calling for constitutional amendments to curb judges' power to do so.

"What we're seeing here is a totally judicially created problem," he told a crowd in Sioux City, Iowa according to the Times. "You know how many states have affirmatively approved gay marriage? State legislatures? Zero."

He also said he backed a constitutional amendment to prevent states from being forced to recognize a same-sex marriage performed in another state under "some off-the-wall court decision, "and called for an amendment to bar judges from allowing same-sex marriage in a state unless that state's its legislature had approved it.

*snip*

Fred Thompson has also said publicly on several occasions that Roe v. Wade is bad law and that he would work to have the quarter century old decision overturned. Unfortunately, there are some conservatives who disagree with Thompson's stance on abortion saying that just getting the SCOTUS to overturn Roe v. Wade does not go far enough and that an amendment should be added to the constitution to protect unborn children, which at present, Thompson appears to be against.

IMO, the overturning of Roe v. Wade should only be considered a first step toward legally protecting the unborn. The next step should be to convince the majority of states to enact and enforce laws that explicitly recognize the human status of unborn children. The hearts and minds of 3/4 majority our country's citizens must first be changed. Only then can the concept of a federal amendment to the Constitution be truly realized.

Regardless of amending the Constitution, Fred Thompson will certainly fight to ensure that our country's most sacred document will be protected by Judges who are committed to doing the same and THAT is what is highest on my list of requirements for electing our next President of these United States of America.

Reason #1,000,001 to Vote for Fred

My hero from the Left Coast and frequent poster over at SondraK.com, Claire from e-Biscuit.com needs just a little more convincing that Fred Thompson is THE choice for President in 2008.

Here ya go sweetie...

Candidate Thompson Praised for Global Warming Views
By Kevin Mooney
CNSNews.com Staff Writer
September 06, 2007

(CNSNews.com) - Free market advocates in search of a champion who will take a firm stand against draconian global warming laws might have one in former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.), who announced his run for the presidency Wednesday on NBC's "Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

This vote of confidence comes from a Senate colleague, James Inhofe (R-Okla.), who believes the weight of scientific evidence has shifted decisively against the notion of human-induced global warming in recent years.

Unfortunately, many Republican and Democratic leaders, as well as leading presidential contenders continue to push for legislation that would "shut down America" in the name of "misguided alarmism," Inhofe told Cybercast News Service.

Rodger's Dream: A Near Reality!!!

Any of you out there who know who Rodger Schultz is, knows that for years he's been plugging away at RCBMFLs (RatCommieBastardMoFoLibtards) over at his website Curmudgeonly and Skeptical (formerly terpsboy.com) in order to get folks to contribute enough money so that he can purchase the av-gas needed for his B-52 so he can make bombing runs over Seattle WA and SanFran CA. Like myself, many of his loyal followers chose to indulge him in this little fantasy because we too have grandiose dreams of doing the exact same thing :) ...regardless of the fact that many of us assumed he was just bullshitting us.

Yesterday, to our collective sadness, Rodger decided to close up shop and stop posting to his infamous blog....

"Certain exigencies dictate that I pursue new opportunities. Thanks for your friendship and help. Be assured, however, that I will be watching the bad guys from, oh, 1000 yards, and if the SHTF I'll respond. Take what you want. I've always been bad about responding to e-mail, prolly will be worse now. :))" -Rodger, the Real King of France

This isn't the first time he's called it quits (and prolly wont be the last), but we have come to depend so much on his wit, his Photoshop skills, and his passionate stand against liberal retards making a mess of our fine country. And now, it all but appeared certain that Rodger's dream of carpet bombing the most liberal cities in America would not come to fruition.

...AND THIS MORNING ALL WE AWOKE TO A BIG SURPRISE!!!

B-52 mistakenly flies with nukes aboard

By Michael Hoffman - Staff writer
Posted : Wednesday Sep 5, 2007 14:39:12 EDT

A B-52 bomber mistakenly loaded with five nuclear warheads flew from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Aug. 30, resulting in an Air Force-wide investigation, according to three officers who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to discuss the incident.

The B-52 was loaded with Advanced Cruise Missiles, part of a Defense Department effort to decommission 400 of the ACMs. But the nuclear warheads should have been removed at Minot before being transported to Barksdale, the officers said. The missiles were mounted onto the pylons of the bomber’s wings.
DISCUSS

How did this happen?

Advanced Cruise Missiles carry a W80-1 warhead with a yield of 5 to 150 kilotons and are specifically designed for delivery by B-52 strategic bombers.

*snip*

Too bad... I was kinda hoping he would have finished at least half of the mission before being forced to land. Oh, well... since that didn't work, perhaps Rodge will consider getting his meds refilled, go pick up a fresh bottle of Scotch and get back to blogging. We do need him so ;(

What Hath Man Wraught?!?!

When I posed the picture of the abomination shown above, it was purely for the purpose of lampooning (or should I say "harpooning") Rosie-O for being the absolutely revolting moonbat pig that she is. All joking aside, I would have never imagined the predicament in which we find ourselves today.

For the past several years, Frankenstein scientists have been grooming their sociopathic egos by attempting to mimic the hand of God through genetic manipulation. First, it was experimentation on human embryos - human beings in their earliest stages of life. Next they attempted to clone animals... with little and questionable success. Then there was the ultimate horror... they tried to clone an actual human being!

After so many failed attempts at trying to play God, under the false premise of medical scientific advancement, these madmen are now creating animal-human hybrids for the presumptive purpose of farming regenerative tissues to replace damaged or diseased human organs.

...and now the British Government has now given this abominable research its stamp of approval!!!

Human-animal embryo study wins approval

Mixing cells and eggs to be allowed in search for new medical treatments

Ian Sample, science correspondent
The Guardian, Tuesday September 4 2007

Plans to allow British scientists to create human-animal embryos are expected to be approved tomorrow by the government's fertility regulator. The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority published its long-awaited public consultation on the controversial research yesterday, revealing that a majority of people were "at ease" with scientists creating the hybrid embryos.

Researchers want to create hybrid embryos by merging human cells with animal eggs, in the hope they will be able to extract valuable embryonic stem cells from them. The cells form the basic building blocks of the body and are expected to pave the way for revolutionary therapies for diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and even spinal cord injuries.

*snip*

To the best of my knowledge, the only proven advancements in the research of stem cells for medical cures have come from work done on umbilical cord blood and other bodily substances not derived from the outright murder and destruction of other human beings. Amazing medical advancements through ethical research are being achieved every day and given time, it may yield the cures we so desperately seek. However, the creation of life is miraculous and is a privilege intended for God alone. For us to think we have the right to create and destroy life for medical science or anything else is nothing short of evil.

How absolutely arrogant man has become!

...In the Clothing of Sheep

Over the past couple of months, I have been toiling away at my Visual Basic programing and trying hard not to pay too much attention to the crap going on in the news of late. Frankly, I get too frustrated and venting takes a certain level of energy which has been needed in order to get my other work done. Now, with the bulk of my other work done, I can finally devote some quality time to my ranting.

BTW... Hope you all had a great summer and a restful Labor Day ;)

Yesterday, I read a story about a group of Catholic nuns who wrote a letter demanding the impeachment of our president, GW. Of course, being a concerned Catholic, I took immediate notice of this action and questioned it right from the get-go.

Religion Briefs Coalition of nuns calls for impeaching Bush and Cheney

JOURNAL WIRE REPORT

A progressive group of U.S. nuns has called on Congress to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney because of their roles in the war in Iraq.

“The National Coalition of American Nuns is impelled by conscience to call you to act promptly to impeach President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for ... high crimes and misdemeanors,” the group wrote in a letter written on behalf of its board members.

The letter says that impeachment is warranted for their “deceiving the public under the false pretense that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction” and “destroying” the reputation of the United States and the good will of other nations.

“The time for impeachment is now — before the example of George W. Bush’s regime is set in stone,” they wrote. “Future generations will thank you for preserving the freedom of our nation and its relation to the entire human community.”

Well, it didn't take long for me to Google this bunch and find out just what kind of deceitful and poisonous cancer they really are...

American Nuns’ Group Voter’s Guide Favours Abortion, Homosexuality

By Hilary White

WASHINGTON, November 3, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The National Coalition of American Nuns (NCAN), has issued a U.S. voters’ guide promoting acceptance of homosexuality, abortion, “gay marriage”, and adoption of children by homosexual partners. The organization is also a strong proponent of women’s ordination and numerous leftist causes.

NCAN, which in various reports is said to represent anywhere from 500 to 1200 U.S. nuns, was founded in 1969 by prominent dissident Sister Margaret Traxler of the congregation of Notre Dame. Sr. Jeannine Gramick, another Notre Dame nun, and co-founder of the gay friendly New Ways Ministry, is currently a member of the NCAN Executive Committee.

In “An Open Letter to Catholic Voters,” dated October 22, the organization, which is not officially recognized by the Church, urged Catholics to “vote their own consciences in the November elections.”

The sisters urged voters to have “respect for the moral adulthood of women.” “We… will choose legislators who will recognize the right of women to make reproductive decisions and receive medical treatment according to the rights of privacy and conscience.”

The statement gives a thinly veiled plug for gay “marriage” saying that “citizens in committed relationships - whether marriages or civil unions - should retain all rights consonant with their state including, but not limited to, adoption of children, ownership of property, inheritance, health, and end-of-life decisions.”

This oblique support was followed more explicitly with, “We pledge ourselves to initiate, invite, and support deepening actions on behalf of social justice, particularly as these impact women, racial/ethnic minorities, and gay or lesbian persons.”
*snip*

As suspected, The National Coalition of American Nuns is one of many demon children tied to Catholic Organizations for Renewal (COR), who's membership also includes:

Association of Pittsburgh Priests
Association For the Rights of Catholics in the Church
Call To Action
CTA (Call To Action) Baltimore
CTA (Call To Action) New Jersey
Call To Action of Northern Virginia
Catholics For Free Choice
Catholics for the Spirit of Vatican II
Catholics of Vision/Canada
Catholics Speak Out / Quixote Center
Celibacy Is the Issue
Coalition of Concerned Canadian Catholics
CORPUS
CORPUS Baltimore
Dignity/USA
Federation of Christian Ministries
Fellowship of Southern Illinois Laity (FOSIL)
Friends of Creation Spirituality
FutureChurch
Good Tidings
New Ways Ministry
North Dakota Peace Coalition
Pathfinder Renewal Weekend
Pax Christi
Promises
Renewal Coordinating Community
Romero Institute
Save Our Sacrament (SOS)/Annulment Reform
and
Women's Ordination Conference

These so-called "Catholic" organizations work tirelessly to deceive the flock and lead others to follow in their "progressive" ways. So in the future, whenever you hear a Catholic group pushing a doctrine in line with a culture of death and little red flags go up in your head, know that the wolves are prowling amongst the flock.

...Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. (Matthew 7:15-20 Douay-Rheims)
