Today's Judicial Dunce

According to a report from the AP, U.S. District Court Judge Joyce Hens Green, appointed to her position by Jimmy Carter just before the end of his term in office, decided to hand down a bleeding heart liberal decision that threatens the security of our country by giving wartime enemies of the state, rights under our own U.S. Constitution.

"The court concludes that the petitioners have stated valid claims under the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution and that the procedures implemented by the government to confirm that the petitioners are 'enemy combatants' subject to indefinite detention violate the petitioners' rights to due process of law," Green wrote.

Ok, lets see?

United States Constitution ? Bill of Rights

Amendment V - Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings. Ratified 12/15/1791.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Well, it seems pretty clear here that the Fifth Amendment allows for exception during times of war or public danger. Hmmmm? last I checked we were AT WAR, but doesn't this exception pertain to U.S. military personnel? In fact, doesn't this Amendment and the whole damned Constitution for that matter, pertain to U.S. Citizens only???

The procedures used for the tribunals "are unconstitutional for failing to comport with the requirements of due process," Green concluded.

Excuse me, but how the hell can you possibly confer ?due process? rights under the U.S. Constitution on non-citizen enemy military combatants during a time of war?!?!

She said the procedures failed to give the detainees access to material evidence and failed to let lawyers help them when the government refused to disclose classified information.

We cannot allow enemy military combatants to have access to classified information without risking disclosure of covert operations currently in process during this time of war! What part of the word ?WAR? doesn?t she understand? We are extracting valuable information from them about their potential roll in terrorist activity and we cannot afford to divulge sensitive information with the possibility that they will squeal like pigs to our enemies thereby jeopardizing the lives of those who are prosecuting this war on terror!!!

"Of course, it would be far easier for the government to prosecute the war on terrorism if it could imprison all suspected 'enemy combatants' at Guantanamo Bay without having to acknowledge and respect any constitutional rights of detainees," Green said.

"Although this nation unquestionably must take strong action under the leadership of the commander in chief to protect itself against enormous and unprecedented threats, that necessity cannot negate the existence of the most basic fundamental rights for which the people of this country have fought and died for well over two hundred years," Green said.

"In sum, there can be no question that the Fifth Amendment right asserted by the Guantanamo detainees in this litigation -- the right not to be deprived of liberty without due process of law -- is one of the most fundamental rights recognized by the U.S. Constitution," she said.

What an absolute idiot. Doesn?t she get it? These scumbags are NOT American citizens, they are not on American soil and until we can ascertain that they are not enemies of the United States, they should remain potential enemy combatants and they are therefore NOT entitled to the protection of the U.S. Constitution. My God! What freakin? Cracker-Jack box did she get her JD from?

Thank God we have the U.S. Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court left to appeal this ridiculous ruling and like I said in the past, these unelected liberal activist judiciaries are the bane of our legal system and they threaten our very sovereign existence! Our law makers need to seriously work on legislation that would limit the damage these dunces can inflict by attempting to rewrite our laws!

God works in mysterious ways...

According to the AP over at Matt Drudge's site, the Queen of Lies has collapsed. Now don't get too worked up here, she's still alive which means she has the ability to be elected to the White House in '08, but it certainly is interesting that she collapses prior to what I can only assume will be another litany of BS aimed at convincing religious groups that she is so pro-life yet committed to protecting the Constitution (i.e. a woman's choice to murder her unborn children). Being such a deeply devoted and religious induhvidual that she is, she might just better pause on her knees prior to getting up the rest of the way and consult with those powers that be on what exactly she's planning on saying in her little speech.

I KNEW IT!!!

According to The Empire Journal, there may finally be evidence sufficient enough to preserve the life of Terri Schiavo...

A new report issued by the inspector general?s office of Florida?s Department of Health indicates that previous complaints against Michael Schiavo concerning alleged abuse and neglect of his brain damaged wife, Terri Schindler Schiavo, may have been swept under the rug resulting in a massive cover-up of alleged improprieties and possible criminal wrongdoing in the case.

There's appears to be quite a few indications mentioned in this report that this Michael Schiavo character is just as much the scumbag we thought he was and then some.

Just like in the Laci Peterson case, I knew when I smelled a rat and even though there were so many people saying that passing judgment prior to collecting and evaluating all the evidence was just "not right", I'm competent enough to know when to trust my gut-feelings and this is definitely one of those occasions.

If not for anything else, these developments should be enough to warrant further investigation into this case and hence should provide this woman with the legal protection she deserves to stay alive.

This Job's fer Hosers, eh!

I thought for sure that Rodger over at Crumudgeonly and Skeptical was gonna be all over this one, but I just couldn't hold it any longer.

If you asked me, it was a beauty way to go!

New Voice of the DNC? (repost... well, sorta)

I had posted this one back over a month ago on the old blogspot site. I came across Howard "Screamin'" Dean's website and had a good laugh when I learned that this raving lunatic was getting preliminary nods to take over as the new chairman of the DNC.

Well, it appears that Harold Ickes, whom many considered the other potential pick for this coveted donk title, came out in force for Dean today contrary to speculation that Queen Shrillary would not approve of such a move by her PAC leader.

Now, we all know that the Clintons are running the show over at the DNC, so why would they all of a sudden want their #1 point man endorsing the likes of Howard Dean who will almost surely move the party's image even further out into left field? I mean, here Shrillary is trying to remake herself as a political centrist every chance she gets, why put Dean at the head of the party?

I believe that by making Dean, the king of the wacko-far-left, head of the DNC while Her Royal Filthiness plans to make herself look like the common ground centrist, she will get the appearance of looking like the only sane candidate of the bunch come time for '07 primaries. While the kook fringe and the ethnic minority voters on the left will always consider Hillary Rodam Rodam and hubby Bill as the saviors of the donk party ? thereby making her the favorite to win - securing her support amongst the right leaning party loyalists will also allow her to distance herself from other potential primary runners in the polls ? thereby securing the rest of the party's approval. This overwhelming support will give her the mystique of being the obvious choice for the candidacy and in turn give her the edge she needs amongst moderates and independonks to ultimately win the grand prize in '08. The scary thing is that the majority of fence riders will end up siding with a candidate that they think looks like a winner rather than a looser, if not for anything else, for the purpose of their personal self esteem. Remember, all she needs to do is flip a couple of red states in her favor and she's in! AAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I know I just laid out a horrible doomsday scenario here folks, but I'm still optimistic that if we bust our butts now and fight to get the truth out on this wolf donk in sheep's elephant's clothing, we just might be capable of stopping her from taking over the top job and reversing all the positive changes that GW and his administration fought so hard to achieve.

God, help us!

Remember to practice what you preach...

A man was being tailgated by a stressed-out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection with him. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed and placed in a cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said," I'm sorry for the mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping the guy off in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the "Choose Life" license plate holder, and "What Would Jesus Do" bumper sticker, the "Follow Me To Sunday School" bumper sticker and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

Ok SondraK, WTF???

Lemme guess...... Haute Couture, right?

And just where, oh where do we draw the line?

Hmmmmmm????

NO WONDER!

Just thought you'd like to know, at 4:00am this morning I figured out why I went to bed was so exhausted last night. Yup, you guessed it! On your knees and pray before the porcelain thrown! I?m not sure I would call it a spiritual awakening though. I?m also not sure when my family gave it to me, because I?m usually a nut case when it comes to washing my hands and not sharing food or drink with them. Yes, all four kids had it in the past two weeks? wife too. Oh well, I figure it has to happen sooner or later. Anyway, I feel like total crap and I really need to get some rest, but I plan on spending at least some time later banging on my puter as I know it will help me bide some of this down time away. Ok, that?s it, I gotta go take a nap. Hopefully I?ll feel better in a little while. :(

What a hot-head!

Oh man, it looks like Uncle Ted finally lost it this time! For reallies! It appears he?s been taking temper tantrum lessons from Barbra Boxer. What a whiner! His left wing parrot of a news channel is laying eggs big time compared to the likes of FNC because they actually give you both sides of the political spectrum when reporting the news and liven it up with a daily dose of optimism... IMMAGINE THAT!!!

I mean, it's just too pathetically obvious what's happening here. Look at it from the perspective of the consumer. The majority of today's consumers are much wiser to fraudulent sales pitches and know when they?re being feed a line of BS. Likewise, the usual liberal spin cycle just ain?t cuttin? it anymore. Folks are sick and tired of hearing the same old rhetoric from the same old doom-and-gloom nay-sayers. The Clinton News Network is stuck in limbo somewhere between the 90?s and the Vietnam-war era and they still insist on peddling the same old anti-Reagan and pro-socialist elite propaganda.

However, I think the greatest irony here is that Uncle Ted had the balls to compare FNC to a fascist propaganda machine propping up a dictator prior to WWII. This sick bastard needs to take a hard look into the mirror. He?s the crackpot who resembles a national socialist (NAZI). He?s the mental case who had to marry a communist sympathizer. He?s the elitist snob who wants us to be more like the Euro-weenies with taxes through the roof, government controlled education, government controlled healthcare, wealth redistribution, a floundering economy, no freedom to bear arms and an impotent military dependant on the UN to get us out of trouble when we have terrorists killing our innocent woman and children. He?s also the one who wants to force us to give up our gas guzzling SUVs yet he?s perfectly content with riding around in his limos and flying around in his private jets.

Perhaps, most condemning of all is the FACT that he is a mass murderer who funds radical pro-choice abortion groups like Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation, Zero Population Growth, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association and NARAL [the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League].

If you would like, I could spend the next hour explaining to you the links between Adolph Hitler, dictator of Nazi Germany and Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, but I?ll let you do the homework. I?m just too exhausted and I need to get to bed. Perhaps I?ll get the chance to lay all that information out in some other future post.

Sweet dreams?

Oh, and if you happen to see old Uncle Ted, be sure to tell him that Mo said "STFU!"

Terri's Fight

Today, in the State of Florida?s fight to save the life of Terri Schiavo, the U.S. Supreme Court has decided to throw the ball back into the Florida Supreme Court?s lap who can't wait to sign her death warrant. This appears to be a major legal blow for this poor woman who has endured so much in her fight to keep her life.

According to an AP story on FNC?s website?

The Supreme Court did not comment in rejecting an appeal from Gov. Jeb Bush, who argued that the state had the authority to step in and pass the 2003 law that ordered Terri Schiavo's feeding tube reinserted six days after her husband had it removed.

Which, BTW saved the woman from a horribly painful death by starvation. How would you like to be sentenced to death by starvation especially when the only thing you?re guilty of is being married to total shmuck.

"It's judicial homicide. They want to murder her," her father, Robert Schindler (search), said Monday. "I have no idea what the next step will be. We're going to fight for her as much as we can fight for her. She deserves a chance."

?and rightly so!

I remember reading a column by Ann Coulter more than a year ago where she raises many of the same issues that I?ve also felt to be quite interesting with respect to this case.

- She is in a permanent vegetative state; no she's not.

- She is unconscious and does not react to stimuli; yes she does.
- She will never get any better; yes she will.
- She would not have wanted to be kept on a feeding tube; you don't know that.

Eye witness accounts and video evidence give testimony to these facts.

The more I learn about this case, the more I am inclined to believe that this Michael Schivo character is a totally rotten bastard. He's been fighting for years now trying to yank the life out from under this poor girl and has all but totally moved on with his life without her. He's already got a new bed warmer and two new kids outside of his legal marriage. All he needs to do now is get rid of the old baggage in order to legitimately consummate his long awaited new matrimony and then reap the financial rewards of Terri?s estate after she?s dead.

I feel so deeply that there is much more to this tragic story than meets the eye and I have the sneaking suspicion that Michael?s change of scenery was premeditated from the get-go. After her collapse into a coma from ?a medical condition? he claims that Terri never wanted to live in a vegetative state, but if she really felt that way wouldn?t she have written up a living will making her wishes known? Also, Terri?s family frequently recalls how she had such a strong love for life.

If the girl I married had an accident or a medical condition that put her in a comatose state, I'd be at that hospital every single day in prayer and servitude for her recovery. Miraculous cures have come about from the presence of a warm heart and a strong spirit and you make it your obligation to helping your other half continue to fight for survival and recovery. When you get married it's supposed to be for better or for worse, through sickness and in health until death do you part, but obviously this jerk's got bigger and better things on his mind.

Unfortunately, every time Terri?s parents and siblings try to bring her the warm heart and a strong spirit so callously denied by her husband, Michael seeks court orders against them. What a cold hearted bastard to deprive his wife ? much less a human being - of any such comfort or compassion. Why can?t he just get the courts to grant him a legal divorce, get the hell out of her life and allow those who really love her and care enough about her to help her get the fighting chance that she deserves.

For more information on Terri?s fight and ways that you can help, visit www.terrisfight.org. Your prayers and petitions are needed and appreciated.

"Be fools for Christ"

I found an interesting article by WBRZ 2theAdvocate, posted over at SpiritDaily.com, on a speech given to the Knights of Columbus Baton Rouge Council 969 for their 100th anniversary by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. In his speech, Justice Scalia spoke openly about faithful Christians maintaining strength in the face of adversity and ridicule and gave high praise to those who hold true to traditional Catholicism and the teachings of the Pope. He also made associated reference to the patron saint of lawyers St. Thomas More - a Catholic martyr who was executed for opposing King Henry VIII when he wanted to divorce Katherine of Aragon and refusing to recognize Henry VIII as the supreme head of the Church of England.

Liberals must be having a hissy-fit over this one. I?ll bet the ACLU is just squirming in their seats looking for a church/state separation issue here. Too bad they don?t have legal issue with any of this, not to mention the fact that church/state separation is not mentioned ANYWHERE in the U.S. Constitution to begin with. What?s more important is that Justice Scalia knows this fact, is not afraid to stand up for his faith and is a man who truly understands the meaning of our Constitution in the same way the authors of that time honored document meant for it to be written. As the article correctly notes?

He has described himself as an "originalist," following the Constitution as written by the Founding Fathers, rather than interpreting it to reflect the changing times.

That?s exactly the kind of constructionist attitude we need in our Supreme Court. President Ronald Reagan was on the mark when he appointed Antonin Scalia to the Supreme Court and I pray that more like him will be appointed and confirmed within the next four years.

She ain't foolin' me!

It's amazing what extents the Hildabeast will go in order to secure a reputation as a moderate donk. According to a report yesterday in The Boston Globe, on the night before the second inauguration of President G.W. Bush, she shows up at a dinner promoting faith based initiatives in full view of the press and starts going on about how important religion is for the country.

"Addressing a crowd of more than 500, including many religious leaders, at Boston's Fairmont Copley Plaza, Clinton invoked God more than half a dozen times, at one point declaring, 'I've always been a praying person.'"

......BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Yeah, right!!!

Shrillary is nothing more than carpet-bagging, communist, snake-in-the-grass who thinks only of herself and her insatiable appetite for power! If she gets the mindless dolts in this country to buy her lies, our country will seriously be in deep donkey do-do!

!!! THANK GOD !!!

There are absolutely no other words I can think of at this time to better describe how I feel.

Wednesday, January 19, 2005

Did you ever get that feeling...???

......you know, like someone's watching you. Perhaps, but then again, perhapse you're a terrorist looking to murder more Americans and in that case, you better be looking over your shoulder quite often because you never know when one of our brave warriors is gonna be there to put his boot up your backside!

However, if you're an average Joe and you like living a quiet, private life, you just might have reason to be concerned weather or not your 4th Amendment rights are being violated. News is out today that some brainiac up in Canada has created a little toy for looking through solid walls with the clarity of looking through your kitchen window. Just think, the one toy that all young men going through puberty would have traded their first born child to own and this clown comes up with the idea in a dream!!!

Oh well, when I was a kid, my old man wupped me good for using his binoculars to spy on the girl next door at night. Could you imagine what would happen if he cought me with this thing?!?!?!

Wow! My backside hurts just thinking of those consequences!

Today's Shining Star

This lady is truly a shining star! She commands herself with such grace and authority especially when confronted with vicious and vitriolic attacks. The Senators who attempted to grill Dr. Condoleezza Rice during today?s Secretary of State confirmation hearings, did so in an obvious display of political grand-standing. As they continued to try and lay some kind of blame on the Bush administration for the war on terror in Iraq, they only succeeded in reinforcing the fact that they are a clueless bunch of political opportunists who care nothing about the greatness of this nation, but everything about partisanship and getting that all important attention from the MSM.

I did have a few choice words about Senator Boxer the hypocrate ?whiner?, but I would have to turn this blog into an R-rated website to express them.

If Dick Morris is right and Dr. Rice becomes the nominee to take out the Queen of Filth in the 2008 Presidential Election, she will have my backing 110%. This lady gets it. She understands the difference between good and evil, she knows the difference between right and wrong, she has a strong knowledge of the Constitution, she realizes the wisdom behind the original intent of the Founding Fathers and she has a thorough understanding of American foreign relations. While we can only speculate on what the next 4 years will bring, it should be safe to assume that we will want to have a candidate in 2008 with strong conservative values and positive vision required to fix the lingering problems that still exist in this country due to runaway liberal ideologies, socialist economic programs and secular government worship. We?d be fools to think for one minute that Rudy, Arnie, McCain (I shudder the thought) or some other RINO would carry a true conservative policy into the next administration. Nope, no doubt about it, this girl?s definitely got the right stuff!

------

!!!UPDATE!!!

Dr. Rice approved by a vote of 16-2! And who do you think the "nays" came from? Even I knew who the two were before reading the article.

ACTION ALERT

Show your support for Self-Defence Bill HR 47!!!

According to RightMarch.com, "HR 47, the "Citizens' Self-Defense Act", would specifically protect the right of law-abiding citizens to use handguns, rifles and shotguns in defending themselves, their families or their homes. It would also allow people whose self-defense rights have been violated by any government entity to bring legal action in federal court."

I am trying to figure out a way of getting important political action alerts to my readers and starting a page for this site that will be dedicated to them all. Remember folks, patients is a virtue:)

ET Go Home!

According to a report over at space.com, there appears to be a high likelihood that we either have been or will be visited by extra-terrestrial life forms. What they have failed to notice is that they are already here among us.

U.S.A. - 3 | Newdow - 0

Will this looser ever get it?

What's gonna finally convince this guy that his argument against this country is based on nothing more than his own selfishness. Isn?t it amazing how some people can be so intelligent and so ignorant at the same time? Confucius said? "He who pees in wind gets wet leg." (or maybe that was Joe the drunk who lives in the alley next to the liquor store?) Anyway, what he?s really trying to do here is get the courts to recognize his form of religion which is atheistic humanism (which is BTW the religion of communism) and reject our country?s monotheistic Judeo-Christian heritage. Make no mistake about it! And would you believe, he?s actually gonna give the Pledge lawsuit yet another try?

This country was built upon a foundation of faith in the Almighty and he had better just learn to accept that fact. References to God are found in almost every facet of our government. Our monotheistic heritage and has proven to be affective in the navigation of our personal and public lives. We are a nation made up mostly of Christians Jews and Muslims and when we refer to God, we are referring specifically to the God of Abraham. My personal faith tells me that Mr. Newdow is a confused soul taken over by the spirit of the Devil and refusing to accept the mention of God anywhere in public, but that?s just the way I look at it. When I profess my faith in public, the Constitution allows me to do so. If he doesn?t like it, there isn?t a damned thing he can do about it so long as I?m not infringing upon the liberties of others. This is the reason why our President has the right to mention God and say prayer at his second inauguration.

Ya know, there seems to be one important concept this guy keeps conveniently forgetting. When the Founding Fathers referred to each individual American?s freedom to worship as they choose, they meant what ever you believe was responsible for the creation of this beautiful country we live in and the ultimate reasoning behind your pathetic existence, even if it?s science and evolution, you have the right to that belief and the government cannot take that right away from you. Our government acknowledges that even though it is endowed with great power to govern its people, it is humbled by the powers responsible for our very existance. Once he gets over his selfishness and finally understands the reasoning and the meaning behind our Constitution's First Amendment, perhaps he will decide to put that JD of his to more profitable use and start chasing ambulances for a living. God help us!

Today's Judicial Dunce

Yesterday, U.S. District Court Justice Clarence Cooper of the Northern District of Georgia, appointed to the bench by disgraced former President B.J. Clinton (go figure), decided to expose his judicial ignorance and wage war against the United States Constitution with regard to Civil Action Case #1 02-CV-2325-CC; Jeffrey Michael Selman, Kathleen Chapman, Jeff Silver, Paul Mason, And Terry Jackson, Vs Cobb County School District and Cobb County Board Of Education challenging the constitutionality of a ?sticker commenting on evolution, which the Cobb County Board of Education? adopted in March of 2002 and placed in certain science textbooks later that year.?

In his decision, Cooper stated that "By denigrating evolution, the school board appears to be endorsing the well-known prevailing alternative theory, creationism or variations thereof.? Uh, excuse me, but doesn?t that statement alone basically make the case that both Creationism and Evolution are therefore equally subject to scientific review? Since even you admit that ?creationism or variations thereof? are, for the sake of argument, ?THEORIES?, then how is it that one of them could possibly ?denigrate? the other except by choice of the student? Yes, CHOICE! That word so frequently used by liberal activist Judiciaries seeking to give legal authority to those who CHOOSE to murder innocent unborn children. Also, if you?re acknowledging that ?even though the sticker does not specifically reference any alternative theories," then why exactly are you implying that it?s endorsing ?creationism or variations thereof??

But before I go any further, let's take a look at what's written in the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America:

Bill of Rights

Article I.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

By saying that stickers placed on science books which alert students that the text within promotes ?THEORIES? of evolution establishes ?an endorsement of religion,? he has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is incapable of interpreting the First Amendment of the Constitution and has essentially become a government advocate of an established religion himself. How is this possible you ask? Let?s say we take a look at the meaning of the word ?religion? from the definition given to us by Noah Webster in 1828 wherein he states;

RELIGION, n. [relij'on].

4. Any system of faith and worship. In this sense, religion comprehends the belief and worship of pagans and Mohammedans, as well as of Christians; any religion consisting in the belief of a superior power or powers governing the world, and in the worship of such power or powers. Thus we speak of the religion of the Turks, of the Hindoos, of the Indians, &c. as well as of the Christian religion. We speak of false religion, as well as of true religion.

This is very interesting indeed. According to the good Mr. Webster, religion is basically ?any system of faith or worship.? Well, since faith is the belief in that which we cannot see or fully comprehend...... What sayeth ye about "faith" Noah Webster?

FAITH, n.

1. Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth.

There is absolutely not enough sufficient evidence available to unequivocally prove that we have evolved from any type of lower life form and therefore, by scientific definition, the notion that evolution is anything other than a theory is both reckless and dubious at best. Also, by acknowledging unproven theories as fact and attempting to promote said theories as such, Judge Cooper has decided to become an advocate of a faith based system of beliefs, hence making his decision in this civil case a clear promotion of religion by the judicial branch of the United States government.

If there should be anything changed in our Constitution, it should be to specify a limit to the length of time served by individuals appointed to Federal Judiciary posts. Far too much power has been given to these un-elected officials and by allowing them to continue to legislate from the Federal Judicial Bench is both a crime and a threat to our nation's constitutional due process!

Birthday Boy!

Today was indeed a special day. Today was the birthday of one of my personal heroes, Rush Limbaugh, and I would not have remembered it had it not been for the kind celebration given by his staff at the beginning of today?s show. I truly believe this ?Dr. of Democracy? is the reason the conservative voice has developed into the force that it is today. If it were not for his steadfast determination in the promotion of conservative thought, I shudder to think what our country?s political landscape would be like.

When I first heard of Rush Limbaugh during the Reagan years, I was given the impression that he was nothing but a fat, bloated, ego-centric bag of wind that sought to destroy our nation by indoctrinating his followers with greed, arrogance and hypocrisy. He was loathed and reviled by the MSM and the hallowed halls of academia and once I began listening to his take on current issues, I instantly knew why. Rush was the long awaited detective of truth in a world slowly being taken over completely by liberal socialism. No longer did we have to sit idly by and be force-fed the lies we knew were being taught in government schools and propagated by the corporate media. Rush Limbaugh is likely the most hated political commentator of the day. He is frequently a target of choice by the political left and if I didn?t know any better, I?d say he enjoys it thoroughly.

During my web search for a decent picture to use for this little dedication on my web site, I had to weed through multitudes of ?hate Rush? pictures before finding something suitable. I was a little shocked, but not surprised. The web has long been a playground for the demented mind of the liberal left. They try so desperately to portray him as a hypocritical, fat, lying, drug addicted womanizer with the IQ of a lab rat and the conscience of a snake. There are even several web sites dedicated solely to his demise as if he were one of the greatest evils of our time (next to George W. Bush of course). And sadly, the more intellectually accurate he becomes, the more overwhelming negative publicity he gets.

Whenever I mention his name at parties or public gatherings, I?m usually met with scowls of discontent and cynicism. Upon hearing the reasons for their animosity, I almost always find that they?ve never even listened to a single one of his shows. In most cases I find that their negative impressions of Rush were acquired from daytime TV talk shows, MSM news broadcasts, op-ed driven newspapers, university professors and friends more interested in the sex lives of movie stars than the future of their country (no big surprise there either). However, after I convince them to give him an honest chance, most end up admitting that they were previously mistaken and misinformed. Also, if today?s news over at the Drudge Report was any indication, his following just keeps getting bigger every day.

Since I started attending the Limbaugh University for Conservative Studies, I have become much more confident in myself and my abilities, I?ve acquired a deeper love and appreciation for my country and I?ve become more acutely aware of the lies and deceit being driven by modern liberal madness. Suffice it to say that my day just wouldn?t be complete if I couldn?t get my scheduled sanity fix from this behemoth of present day conservative thought.

So a big "Happy Birthday" Rush and thank you for your wisdom, your vision and your commitment to the American dream.

Sure Sweetie, I'll give you a ride!

I saw this girl what looks like a beach bunny in dune buggy and thought I'd give her a lift in a real 4X4. That concept Jeep looks awsome kewl and prolly runs like a raped ape on the sand dunes, but for wallerin' in the mud like a true redneck, one's gotta climb way up into the driver seat, put on a helmut, strap on the 5pt harness and let'er rip! Mud flying everywhere!

In Flight Repairs...

Well, it's been several days now since I last made a posting and it's been rather exhausting too. After I got my menu up and running I had to make several adjustments in order to make the site viewable to a broader range of visitors. The messed up part was coming to the realization that you just can?t please everybody. I ended up having to make a couple of sacrifices in order to accomplish the most important function of this place and that was the obviously the rantings?? of course. The next important thing was that I got my links menu up and working under most web browser platforms. Suffice it to say that most commonly used browsers are capable of handling simple java script.

With that said, I can now get back to the real meat and potatoes of blogging.

??thank God!

*Uh... hold that thought. Now my comments/archive pages aren't woking right!!! UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!

You gotta love those Macs!

Those who've been keeping an eye on this web site know that I've been spending allot of time working at making this place as nice as I can before doing any serious blogging. Now that I've spent the better part of the holidays screwing around with the settings I'm finally starting to focus on my rantings. Unfortunatly, my most dedicated commenter so far is having problems viewing the website due to the fact that her Safari browser running on her iMac isn't translating my pages correctly. To me, her viewing pleasure is of the utmost importance and therefor I will be spending all my time making sure this problem gets fixed. So shy of just brief postings, thats what I'll be most focused on. Modern Mac users are a special breed. It's a real eye opener seeing how much the technology has improved since the days of my old Apple IIe. They really have become quite attractive. YUUUUUM... YUM!!!

Here we go again...

Back several months ago Rodger Shultz, over at the infamous "Crumudgeonly and Skeptical", posted this pic under the title "A Machine Too Far", to which nobody chose to comment on.

I, however, felt differently and so I commented as follows...

Ok, since nobody else is choosing to tackle this one, I'll be honored to do so.

What have we got here?

Let's see. We have a bunch of spineless crustaceans wandering around aimlessly in a public venue, bumping into and climbing over top of each other, spewing their excrement all over the place, charging you money while tricking you into believing you will get something out of them and then spending the remainder of their lives avoiding getting caught.

Not for nothing, it kind of reminds me of a session of the US Senate on CSPAN.

Well, for those of you who don?t know, today marked the first day of the 109th session of the United States Congress and with a 435 to 232 republican majority in the House, and a 55 to 45 republican majority in the Senate (and yes, for all intensive purposes Jumpin' Jim Jeffords(I) might just as well be counted as a Democrat), you?d think we?d be hearing news of how the right side of the isle is rolling up their sleeves and laying down the groundwork for their game plan to put America on a stronger course, but nooooooooooooooo. Instead what we here from the MSM is the same old partisan donk windbags spewing their usual excrement. It's like listening to a bunch of spoiled children having temper tantrums 'cause they ain't gettin' their way. In this Fox report, for example...

[Senate Judiciary] committee's ranking Democrat, Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, and others of his party plan to question [Attorney General nominee Alberto] Gonzales, in particular, on his involvement in crafting U.S. policy regarding torture and coercion of detainees.

..."The upcoming hearings are a chance for some accountability and for some answers that have been lacking from the administration about its policies on torture and about the prison-abuse scandals," Leahy said in a statement Monday. "There is much to answer for."

Answer for what, for getting vital information out of terrorist combatants who seek the slaughter of anyone that doesn't subscribe to their facist views of Wahabism and who chose not to qualify for kid-glove treatment under the Geneva Conventions? Hmmmmmmm... lets see here;

Geneva Convention (III) Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War; August 12, 1949

ARTICLE 4

A. Prisoners of war, in the sense of the present Convention, are persons belonging to one of the following categories, who have fallen into the power of the enemy:

(1) Members of the armed forces of a Party to the conflict, as well as members of militias or volunteer corps forming part of such armed forces.

(2) Members of other militias and members of other volunteer corps, including those of organized resistance movements, belonging to a Party to the conflict and operating in or outside their own territory, even if this territory is occupied, provided that such militias or volunteer corps, including such organized resistance movements, fulfil the following conditions: (a) that of being commanded by a person responsible for his subordinates; (b) that of having a fixed distinctive sign recognizable at a distance; (c) that of carrying arms openly; (d) that of conducting their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war.

(3) Members of regular armed forces who profess allegiance to a government or an authority not recognized by the Detaining Power.

(4) Persons who accompany the armed forces without actually being members thereof, such as civilian members of military aircraft crews, war correspondents, supply contractors, members of labour units or of services responsible for the welfare of the armed forces, provided that they have received authorization, from the armed forces which they accompany, who shall provide them for that purpose with an identity card similar to the annexed model.

(5) Members of crews, including masters, pilots and apprentices, of the merchant marine and the crews of civil aircraft of the Parties to the conflict, who do not benefit by more favourable treatment under any other provisions of international law.

(6) Inhabitants of a non-occupied territory, who on the approach of the enemy spontaneously take up arms to resist the invading forces, without having had time to form themselves into regular armed units, provided they carry arms openly and respect the laws and customs of war.

B. The following shall likewise be treated as prisoners of war under the present Convention:

(1) Persons belonging, or having belonged, to the armed forces of the occupied country, if the occupying Power considers it necessary by reason of such allegiance to intern them, even though it has originally liberated them while hostilities were going on outside the territory it occupies, in particular where such persons have made an unsuccessful attempt to rejoin the armed forces to which they belong and which are engaged in combat, or where they fail to comply with a summons made to them with a view to internment.

(2) The persons belonging to one of the categories enumerated in the present Article, who have been received by neutral or non-belligerent Powers on their territory and whom these Powers are required to intern under international law, without prejudice to any more favourable treatment which these Powers may choose to give and with the exception of Articles 8, 10, 15, 30, fifth paragraph, 58-67, 92, 126 and, where diplomatic relations exist between the Parties to the conflict and the neutral or non-belligerent Power concerned, those Articles concerning the Protecting Power. Where such diplomatic relations exist, the Parties to a conflict on whom these persons depend shall be allowed to perform towards them the functions of a Protecting Power as provided in the present Convention, without prejudice to the functions which these Parties normally exercise in conformity with diplomatic and consular usage and treaties.

C. This Article shall in no way affect the status of medical personnel and chaplains as provided for in Article 33 of the present Convention.

That's odd, it appears that according to the third Geneva Convention, these suicide bombing, head chopping murderers fail to meet the requirements necessary to qualify as enemy prisoners of war.

Awwwwwwwwwwww... tooooooo baaaaaaad. What a shame:(

*violins playing sad music in background*

Oh, and if I remember correctly, doesn't Senator "Leaky" have his own set of ethics baggage to worry about?

And as usual, beauty queen *gag* Nancy Pelosi was front and center with her own little temper tantrum as cited by the AP in the New York Post...

"The proposed changes [to GOP House ethics rules] are destructive and unethical," evidence of Republican arrogance and pettiness, charged Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California.

Poor baby. She better be careful. All that whining is just gonna add more wrinkles to that precious Miss America face of hers. Besides, if she keeps up spewing that excrement while swimming in that tank, the other lobsters just might start to avoid her altogether, making her an easy target for dinner.

Not the same, but...

I gotta tell ya, if they didn't really catch that pathetic coward Zarqawi, I'm gonna blow a friggin gasket.

*grinding teeth*

If the rest of you are feeling the same way, don't worry. I have found great little release that's helping me with my anger management. Click the picture above for instant relief. It works great in that it keeps me from smashing my monitor with a baseball bat.

God, please say it is so!

We and the good citizens of Iraq have been waiting far too long for this scumbag to either be killed or captured for hanging. If Matt Drudge's sources are right, this will be the finest moment in the war on terror since the capture of Saddam. There will also be allot of folks sleeping easier tonight as well.

...and of course, the Pentagon is denying the reports. *sigh*

Well, ?Todd? is her middle name?

According to Matt Drudge it appears Christine "Todd" Whitman is hungry for some lib media attention these days. The well known RINO and liberal sycophant has come out with the latest book in a long line of former administration cry-babies attacking President Bush. Too bad, she?s two months too late? HA!!!:D

[Ms. Whitman] touts the importance of moderates to the future of the Republican Party and flays Bush and his team for ignoring the country's middle.

..."The numbers show that while the president certainly did energize his political base, the red state/blue state map changed barely at all, suggesting that he had missed an opportunity to significantly broaden his support in the most populous areas of the country," Whitman writes.

Oh really???

New fodder destined for another hour long infomercial on CBS? 60-Minutes? Blather?s parting shot at the President?

What Ms. "Todd" neglects to take into account is the fact that many of the populated areas that serve as strongholds for donks and libs have been thinning in part due to the exodus that followed the 9-11 attacks. Many of those fleeing the metropolitan areas have been buying up real estate in the suburbs and surrounding countryside at astounding rates. This, in turn, has been driving up the cost of owning a new home, raising the numbers for personal home ownership, increasing the population of those with personal accountability and in turn, changing the ideology of many to more conservative principles. Carl Rove and the Bush reelection team saw this paradigm shift and focused their campaign appropriately.

Ms. "Todd" needs to remember the remarkable increase of grass root support that President Bush received in many urban areas. Also, with so many die hard donks crossing party lines to put GW back into the Oval Office this past election, it should be a no-brainer to a Republican backed politician that conservative ideologies are increasingly gaining the upper hand among voters. Although not yet overwhelming, this new ideological trend is gaining strength none-the-less. More folks are clearly seeing the effects of the President?s tax cuts, they realize the importance of a proactive approach to the war on terrorism, they are seeing the left as becoming moore and moore detached from reality and as a result, they are moving off of the political fence and siding with the right.

The bigger question should be "Why does she want the President to reach out to the moderates?" and the answer is because she seeks to dirty the GOP waters with her immoral liberal agenda. According to Phyllis Schlafly in an article posted on Young America?s Foundation website on October 16, 2002?

RINO Governor Christine Todd Whitman appointed six out of the seven New Jersey Supreme Court judges, several of whom were Democrats. Two of the judges (plus the spouses of two others) had made political donations to Torricelli.

Whitman selected judges who could be counted on to implement her liberal pro-abortion agenda, and now Republicans can see the fruits of her appointments: violation of election law and possibly the loss of the U.S. Senate. This is the same New Jersey Supreme Court that unanimously ordered the Boy Scouts to change its rules and employ gay scoutmasters (fortunately, reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court).

The ungrateful "Todd" quickly forgets all the support she received from the GOP in her time of need, running for Governor of New Jersey and earning the appointment to head of the EPA by President Bush. If Ms. RINO plans to have any future in politics under a Republican banner (short of dog catcher) she would do well to refrain from biting the hand that feeds her.

GreenREDpeace Economics

Lets be honest here folks, next to the communists, the environmentalists are prolly the most notorious bunch of anti-capitalist scumbags on the face of God?s green earth. These people, including Greenpeace, the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), the Sierra Club and others of their ilk are hell bent on bringing down big business, private industry and the free market society. Their ultimate goal is to bring wealthy industrialized nations to economic collapse. In a very well written article by Alan Caruba in Capitalism Magazine?

Leading voices for environmental and related causes express views comparable to the Communist philosophy of total government control. In his book, "Earth in the Balance," [former] Vice President Al Gore, Jr., has written that "Adopting a central organizing principle means embarking on an all-out effort to use every policy and program, every law and institution, every treaty and alliance, every tactic and strategy, every plan and course of action to use, in short, every means to halt the destruction of the environment." He has called for "a wrenching transformation of society" to achieve this goal of total centralized government control, the hallmark of the former Soviet system.

It is the same reason Americans are continually portrayed as materialistic capitalists who rape the earth, steal its riches, and are the cause of environmental problems around the world. Despite this, Americans remain largely unaware of the true goals of environmentalism while their school's textbooks are filled with Green propaganda, and their churches are infiltrated by Greens seeking to substitute earth worship to replace traditional Judeo-Christian values. U.S. entertainment and news media repeat and reinforce the Green message, and America's elected leaders, many of whom are members of the Progressive Caucus, an instrument of the Democratic Socialists of America, advance laws to achieve the goals of the Green movement.

-- Alan Caruba, Capitalism Magazine 4-21-2000

So, does it surprise any of you that the enviro-facists are back in force with new criticism of big industry, by seeking to link the gluttony of natural resource by the world?s most affluent nations to the recent earthquake/tsunami deaths of tens of thousands of people in southeast Asia, many of which are Muslims???

"A creeping rise in sea levels tied to global warming, pollution and damage to coral reefs may make coastlines even more vulnerable to disasters like tsunamis or storms in [the] future," wrote Alister Doyle, an environmental correspondent for Reuters?

? According to Doyle, "Scientists say a build-up of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere from human burning of fossil fuels threatens to trigger more powerful storms and raise sea levels, exposing coasts to more erosion."

-- David Thibault, CNS News 12-28-04

And does it take much genius to figure out that such criticism is really being levied against the most succesful nation of capitalist economics durring the height of its war against terrorism and muslim extremism???

Global warming my ass!

These blowhard tree huggers can spout off all the junk science theories they want, but in the end we know what they are really up to!
