A blogosphere firestorm for Terri!!!

I'm feeling a tremendous need to put out another update on the Terri Schiavo case. There appears to be a real growing interest in saving this woman?s life given that she may only have two more weeks left to live. The blogosphere is abuzz with talk of how the courts are continually siding with her husband and the pro-life community is signaling yet another call to arms. Even Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, Pope John Paul II himself and the Christian community at large have called for the preservation of her life. As time runs out on this poor woman, a firestorm is brewing on the internet demanding that she be kept alive and more attention be given to an investigation looking into possible abuse at the hands of her husband. The case has also drawn attention to the fact that there are many in the government legal system that refuse to side on pro-life issues. Just this past week, a judge refused to retract his decision allowing Michael Schiavo to remove Terri?s feeding tube which would subject her to an excruciating death by starvation. Despite the news that studies show disabled people like Terri are indeed mentally aware and the promise that miracles really do happen, we need to do all we can to get the message out to others in the blogosphere that Terri?s death would be no less than a tragic injustice to decency, the respect of life and overall human compassion.

Once again, for more information on Terri?s fight and ways that you can help, visit www.terrisfight.org. Your prayers and petitions are needed and appreciated.
