With a decidedly pro-life Congress, and a noticeable shift in climate for the unborn, Grassfire is moving aggressively to intensify grassroots momentum in support of a number of key pieces of legislation?most notably The Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act that was just re-introduced to Congress, and has an excellent change of passage!


In order to maximize grassroots impact on leadership during petition presentations, it is vital that we mobilize as many pro-life voices from around the nation as soon as possible! Please sign the petition below and continue to alert your pro-life friends and family.


The "Petition For Life" focuses on a number of key pro-life initiatives that we are pressing House and Senate leadership on:
- Passage of the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act (S. 51, HR 356).
- Blocking the dangerous RU-486 abortion drug.
- A true, universal ban on all forms of human cloning, including human embryo cloning.

- Stopping federal funding of research that destroys human embryos.
- Stopping taxpayer support of Planned Parenthood?an organization that performed 227,385 abortions in the fiscal year of 2002-2003, while during that same time referred only 1,963 women to adoption services.
- Protecting babies who survive abortions.
- Prohibiting the taking of minors across state lines to have an abortion (S. 851, HR 1218).
- Support of pro-life nominees to the Court.
