That May Cost You Your Life!
Since the emergence of communism in the early 1900s, millions of people have been imprisoned, tortured and murdered for their opposition to this godless, dictatorial, dehumanizing, and oppressive form of government. Today, only a handful of nations continue to enslave their populations under this brutal form of tyranny, but there continues to be a large number of people who are deceived into believing that the socialist or communist paradigm is the best solution for establishing a harmonious, fair, and functioning society. What they fail to realize is that by surrendering their freedom for the common good of the state, they also loose their identity, empower others to control their lives and become mere cogs in a large machine, disposable as a wrapper on a stick of chewing gum.
Little do many people realize, the early Christan movement was also, for a while, communist. That's right, I said communist! The Early Christian Church believed that equal distribution of wealth was essential for their obedience to God and their fellowship within the larger communal family. This social model is clearly described in the Holy Bible in Acts of the Apostles:
And all they that believed, were together, and had all things common. Their possessions and goods they sold, and divided them to all, according as every one had need. (Acts 2:44-45, Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible)
The major difference today is that communal social behavior under communism, strips away the authority and laws of Almighty God and replaces them with the authority and laws of man. We can to govern by all the knowledge in the world, but without the guidance of our Heavenly Father, we lack the conscience and discipline needed for true love and respect of self as well as others.
This past Tuesday, June 12, President Bush commemorated a new memorial in honor of the victims of communist rule. Estimates project that over 100,000,000 people have died from this inhumane system of dictatorial governance. Below is a table I lifted from DigitalSurvivors.com. It cites many of the statistics found in references such as "Death by Government," by R.J. Rummel and "The Black Book of Communism," by a group of academics and senior researchers and is a chilling reminder of the consequences of submission to socialist and communist ideology.
Now, you would think that freedom loving folks would be ecstatic over the most powerful leader of the free world marking such a significant and solemn occasion and broadcast exaltations for the unavailing of this long overdue memorial...
As LifeSiteNews.com reported on Thursday, June 14;
...According to Michael Chapman of NewsBusters Media Research Center, American newspapers remained initially silent about reporting the memorial commemoration. Despite the fact that the President was commemorating the deaths of multiple millions and expressing his hopes that no president should mourn the deaths of any other innocents in future, only a few papers mentioned the fact, and even then only in their later pages.
Why does this not surprise most of us? As typical of commie loving rags, anything that sheds bad light on the reality of socialism is oppositional to their left-wing propaganda and runs contrary to their twisted idealogical views. So for all the crap President Bush is getting for his ridiculous illegal immigration policies, here's an excellent opportunity for me to show a little gratitude and give him due praise for speaking the truth on the horrors of communism.
