Bush to undergo 'routine' colonoscopy

US President George W. Bush will undergo a "routine colonoscopy" at the Camp David retreat on Saturday, temporarily ceding his powers to Vice President Dick Cheney, the White House said Friday.
Cheney will serve as acting president until such time as Bush, who will be under anesthesia, says he is ready to resume his duties, presidential spokesman Tony Snow told reporters.*snip*
My best guess here folks is that right this minute, there's a democrat somewhere thinking up a way to play a practical joke on Cheney by slipping him an electric shock handshake in order to fry his pacemaker. You folks are aware that, during that brief window of opportunity, if the VP is incapacitated, the Speaker of the House becomes Commander in Chief, right???
Although I highly doubt anything like that would happen, I just cannot put those RCBMFs above such trickery.
P.S. The programming is going along well, but I have to work out a bunch of snags and worst case scenarios. Hopefully things will be back back to normal soon.
