After getting stuffed to the gills on turkey dinner (and getting about 12 hours of sleep), it's on to that annual labor intensive task of preparing for Christmas. I've already pulled out most of the decorations and tomorrow the tree goes up. With any luck we should get most of it done in one weekend, but I have my reservations. The temperature outside today was down in the mid 30's and I literally froze my balls off tying the fresh garland around the porch. Only one wreath is up, I have 3 more to go and I haven't even started the lights yet! Oh well, at least I had a good excuse to spend time decorating the website today. I'm even contemplating setting up a collection of Christmas tunes on the MoFiZiX MuZiX Jukebox. Just so you all know, as it has become an annual tradition here, I also put up the banner for my favorite Christmas charity...
The Marine Corps Reserve once again goes above and beyond the call of duty - as they have for the past 60 years - making sure that impoverished children have a something to smile about on Christmas morning. The happiness of opening Christmas gifts, we and our children take so much for granted, is a joy that every child should share. Please donate something, whatever little you can spare, and spread a little Christmas joy this holiday season. Thank you.
