After hearing about the pig-on-parade performance by Britney Spears last night at the MTV Music Awards, I couldn't help but feel sorrow for this obviously miserable human being. For the past several years, this girl has been the a prime target for many who just love to heap mountains of criticism on her. Don't get me wrong here, most of it has been very well deserved. It's just that if you look at her today and read about all of the self made misery she has in her life, you just can't help but wonder what drove an innocent young girl from a southern Baptist community to become the pop music industry's poster child for out of control moral depravity.

As a child, Britney was a talented gymnast in state competitions, a performer in local dance revues and a singer in her local Baptist church choir. At eight years old, she tried out for Disney's "The New Micky Mouse Club" and after studying performing arts in NYC, she eventually made it on the show. A few years later she was signed on by a record company and began her moral downward slide. Once she turned eighteen, she became instant fodder for millions of horny males spending hours on line wacking off to photos of her in numerous sexually provocative poses. If I remember correctly, she was even reported once as being the most Googled name on the internet. The racier she posed, the more attention she got. The more attention she got, the more money she and her keepers made. Quite literally, she became a multimedia whore.

This is by no means a unique story. On the contrary, this allure of rising to fame and fortune seems to be the result of typical baiting tactics used by the entertainment industry. Record companies pimp these young starlets onto the emerging generations hoping to reap millions in profits and keep fresh talent fueling their genre of perversion through music videos, teen magazines and television programing that pushes the envelope on FCC regulation on a daily basis.

Now, it must be said that by no means am I claiming to be some virgin eared, doctor of morality. Quite the opposite. When I was in high school, I got into some seriously satanic music and then I got involved in the punk rock scene. Eventually I grew up after some hard knocks but never have I ever seen so mush focus on sexuality from the entertainment industry. Where the punk scene was all about in-your-face anger, the pop scene is all about in-your-face SEX... and lots of it! As a parent of four with two being very young and impressionable girls, I am genuinely concerned and apprehensive about what kind of sleaze influences their lives - REASON #1,536 FOR HOMESCHOOLING :)

The result of years of marketing this in-your-face sex to our kids has become more and more evident as we see a sharp increase in the number of statutory rapes, child abductions, sexual assaults, and child pornography. Every time I see little school girls (not just high school kids) dressed like prostitutes, I can't help but think about where they learned to show such little respect for themselves. Yes, I blame the Britney Spears of the world, but even-more-so I blame the industry that corrupted their souls and bread them for sexual entertainment in the first place... all for the almighty dollar.

24 million children (34 percent) live absent their biological father. Nearly 20 million children (27 percent) live in single-parent homes. 1.35 million births (33 percent of all births) in 2000 occurred out of wedlock. 43 percent of first marriages dissolve within fifteen years; about 60 percent of divorcing couples have children; and approximately one million children each year experience the divorce of their parents. Over 3.3 million children live with an unmarried parent and the parent's cohabiting partner. The number of cohabiting couples with children has nearly doubled since 1990, from 891,000 to 1.7 million today. Fathers who live with their children are more likely to have a close, enduring relationship with their children than those who do not. The best predictor of father presence is marital status. Compared to children born within marriage, children born to cohabiting parents are three times as likely to experience father absence, and children born to unmarried, non-cohabiting parents are four times as likely to live in a absent home. About 40 percent of children in absent homes have not seen their father at all during the past year; 26 percent of absent fathers live in a different state than their children; and 50 percent of children living absent their father have never set foot in their father's home. Children who live absent their biological fathers are, on average, at least two to three times more likely to be poor, to use drugs, to experience educational, health, emotional and behavioral problems, to be victims of child abuse, and to engage in criminal behavior than their peers who live with their married, biological (or adoptive) parents. From 1960 to 1995, the proportion of children living in single-parent homes tripled, from 9 percent to 27 percent, and the proportion of children living with married parents declined. However, from 1995 to 2000, the proportion of children living in single-parent homes slightly declined, while the proportion of children living with two married parents remained stable. Children with involved, loving fathers are significantly more likely to do well in school, have healthy self-esteem, exhibit empathy and pro-social behavior, and avoid high-risk behaviors such as drug use, truancy, and criminal activity compared to children who have uninvolved fathers.

Could you just imagine the outrage...

Imagine, if you could, just for a moment, that children throughout the country who were attending public school were being taught the Gospels and philosophy of Jesus Christ and were forced to accept His teachings and those who did not tolerate Him or His devoted followers were publicly humiliated and labeled as bigots, Christian- phobics, and intolerant hate-mongers. Imagine that Christian groups were encouraged to come into the public schools and proselytize their faith to all grades from kindergarten through 12th, at the behest of the school's administrators and teachers.



Imagine, if you could, that the students were routinely given lots of printed materials on the joys of Christianity and the numerous benefits of having Christians in society. Students would be granted special areas in the schools where they can congregate, pray and assist others in proudly proclaiming their newly found faith in Christ. Students would be encouraged to create banners with Christian slogans and large Crucifix's to adorn the classrooms and hallway walls. The schools would establish special days, special weeks and special months dedicated specifically to the awareness and awful plight of persecuted Christians in todays intolerant society. Then imagine, if you will, that public funds from school taxes and proceeds from the state's lottery commission were used to pay for all of that which I have just mentioned.

NOW...

Imagine that it's also the school's policy for students NOT to tell their parents about the Christian teachings and even if the parents DID find out and object to the new policy - due to their contrary religious beliefs - they would have absolutely no right to say anything about it or remove their child from the school during the special Christian days since the government has already approved and mandated the new curriculum!

It sounds pretty far fetched and guaranteed, if this were a reality, there would be such a public and legal outrage that it would damned near lead to the complete abolition of the public education system NATIONWIDE!!!

AND SO...

What if I were to tell you that this really IS HAPPENING TODAY and IT IS HAPPENING IN ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS ACROSS AMERICA!!! The only difference is that it is NOT due to Christian groups teaching the acceptance of Jesus Christ, but radical homosexual groups teaching acceptance of their alternative and perverted sexual lifestyles!!!



Over the past couple of decades now, militant homosexual activists have been cleverly devising ways of forcing moral society to accept that which has previously been broadly condemned as sick, selfish, and perverted behavior. Not only has it been declared an act of abomination in the Torah, the Bible, and the Koran, but it is also well deserving of condemnation by secular definitions as well since it stands in contrast to the natural progression of the human species. It is a selfish act by which one receives sexual gratification without - and in defiance of - the commitment to procreation.

As a means of their survival, homosexuals fight to sway public opinion by using science and culture. Yet, despite years of research, NOT A SINGLE stitch of evidence has been found linking homosexuality to a person's genetic makeup. Instead, the homosexual activists use skewed statistical data in an attempt to attack heterosexual relationships, use irrelevant examples to show positive homosexual contributions to society, and stress the need for individual civil liberty in their vain attempt to garner support for their perverted lifestyles.



Not surprisingly, well documented medical consequences of homosexual activity include higher instances of STD's, mental health complications, and a drastic shortening the average life span. With respect to raising children, many studies have shown that children raised by married heterosexual parents have a much lower risk of psychological complications once they become adults and stand a much better chance of becoming fully functioning members of society. Regardless, there are many out there who believe that shoving acceptance of perversion down the throat of moral society is the righteous thing to do.

Finding themselves on the loosing side of their arguments, the homosexual activists resort to employing tactics reminiscent of Nazi youth indoctrination from late 1930's Germany. Since the vast majority of the population is already aware of the negative moral and medical effects of homosexuality on a healthy society, the gay, lesbian, and trans-gender groups instead target the section of society that is most vulnerable and receptive to change. They realize that the most effective means of securing social acceptance is by liberating society's moral convictions at its earliest stages, specifically our children in the public school system! By targeting the impressionable minds of society's youth, the homosexual activists can sow the seeds of confusion thereby programming future generations into supporting their cause.

By claiming an oppressed social minority status, they are allowed to enter the public schools under the pretense of promoting social diversity and tolerance for those with alternative lifestyles. Once inside, these homosexual advocacy groups set forth in not only teaching children that there are others in the world who do not fit the tradition "mommy/daddy" mold but also that "mommy/mommy" or "daddy/daddy" is just as natural and acceptable.



Then the children, who are budding with intelligence and curiosity, raise questions about themselves and overall society at large. Once questions about their own sexuality become vocalized, they are told to be open minded and accepting of their newly found curiosity of same sex attraction. Throughout the school years, they are offered all the support needed to justify their alternative lifestyle choices and push through the idea that being "different" is the ultimate declaration of being cool. Special programs and events like the National Day of Silence, Diversity Week, and Gay and Lesbian History Month are put in place to encourage a positive and accepting atmosphere for those with alternative sexual curiosities.



If, however, you are looking at this growing cancer as just a “gay” problem, you are sadly mistaken. The modern day homosexual movement has deep roots and is closely tied with the even more powerful feminist movement which, if you dig even deeper, is linked to the Marxist movement. Although communism has failed both militarily and economically to destroy the free nations of the world, groups like the National Organization of Women, the Feminist Majority Foundation, Women's Educational Media, and Planned Parenthood have been working tirelessly at sowing the seeds of socialist principles and winning the cold war from within and the only way for us to defeat them to raise the public awareness by exposing them and fighting them everywhere they rear their ugly heads. And make no mistake about it, the ultimate goal of these groups is the removal of religious morality and the destruction of the American family.

Kids can't be kids anymore?

I remember being part of a group of kids that spent all our free time roll playing WWII battles in the local park and around our neighborhood. There were about 10 of us in our small community who had relatives (grandfathers, great-uncles + such) that either fought Hitler in Europe or Tojo in the South Pacific and we idolized them as heroes (still do). The Vietnam War was still being fought at the time and some of us also had family fighting over there at that time as well. All in all, we must have had some 20 kids that participated and each of us would insist that Santa got us the coolest toy weapons every Christmas. What couldn’t be found under the Christmas tree or in the toy stores, we would make up in our tool sheds or basements. I remember once making a cardboard tube bazooka which eventually got used as a main gun on a mock-up tank we made out of plywood, 2x4s and an old go-cart. We even had a couple of girls that participated as soldiers, field nurses, hostages, messengers and spies. We would draw straws to determine who fought as the enemy and luckily I only remember a couple of occasions when I had to fight on the side of the axis. It was truly a golden time in our lives and we all had so much fun. As blog goddess SondraK points out, times be changin’! Kids today can’t even play a simple game of tag! WTF is that all about?!?! Unfortunately, it’s really quite sad that today’s PC police and Freudian peaceniks have made it nearly impossible for kids to have real wholesome fun anymore.
