Now THAT would've been a SMART BOMB!

SINCE WHEN HAS
AL-JAZEERA EVER BEEN
AN ALLY OF THE
UNITED STATES?!?!?!

For years now, the Al-Jazeera news service has been the premiere propaganda spin machine for the islamo-facist movement and should have been taken out long ago. The UK Daily Mirror claims that a “Top Secret” Downing St. memo shows that GW wanted to take out Al-Jazeera in Qatar and Tony Blair talked him out of it. *DAMNIT!!!* Oh well. At least - according to Al-Jazeera - we did get to take out their Baghdad office back in April, 2003. In a way, I see it as de-ja-vu of what happened in 1991 during the first Gulf War in that we should have finished the job then too and we’d have been better off today because of it. Come to think of it, we should’ve bombed out the rest of the liberal MSM while we were at it. In order to take out the WWII Nazis, we had to target the propaganda machine. It's just the way it had to be done to win the war against evil. You want some world peace? Here’s the solution… Let a few of those “stray” missles “accidentally” hit the NY/LA Times, Washington Post, CNN, BBC, yadda, yadda, yadda. Now that’s what I would call a “smart bomb!”

"I'm not dead!"

- Here's one.
- That'll be nine pence.
- I'm not dead!
- What?
- Nothing... here's your nine pence.
- I'm not dead!
- Here... he says he's not dead!
- Yes, he is.
- I'm not!
- He isn't.
- Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
- I'm getting better!
- No, you're not... you'll be stone dead in a moment.
- Oh, I can't take him like that... it's against regulations.
- I don't want to go on the cart!
- Oh, don't be such a baby.
- I can't take him...
- I feel fine!
- Oh, do us a favor...
- I can't.
- Well, can you hang around a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
- Naaah, I got to go on to Robinson's... they've lost nine today.
- Well, when is your next round? Thursday.
- I think I'll go for a walk.
- You're not fooling anyone y'know. Look, isn't there something you can do?
- I feel happy... I feel happy.

*whop*

- Ah, thanks very much.
- Not at all. See you on Thursday.
- Right.

Is it any wonder that communism is a major contributing factor in the culture of death? The concept that human beings are expendable organisms on par with common animals has been pushed by this evil ideology for more than a century. Those who think that man is accountable only to himself and the state and not to God have sown these seeds of death under the guise of charitable and social utopianism. Also, as the communist economic model falls under the weight of its own corrupt system of values, so falls its quality of health care as evidenced by this story by Reuters where a dying woman’s family, without financial or government assisted means, had taken her to a crematorium to have her put out of her misery thereby sparing the family undue and continued hardship.

Human life is a precious gift from God that deserves every possible opportunity for its survival. Without freedom, liberty, the belief in God and the benefits of a strong capitalist economy, we open ourselves up to eventually being deceived into accepting the abandonment of life for the sake of convenience.

"God-damned coward!"

This man calls himself a Marine!?!?

"Well, hell, you're nothing but a God-damned coward!"

"...God-damned bastard! Get him out of here!
Take him back to the front! You hear me?
You God-damned coward!!!"

I have never know – and I know many – brave, fighting men and women who serve proudly in the Corp and I have never heard any of them ever speak or even contemplate cutting and running from battle! They know that this is the most important war this world has seen since the struggle to wipe out the Nazis in WWII and premature withdrawal will only further embolden a ruthless and untiring enemy who seeks to control the world through terror, murder and oppression.

When the forces of freedom hear the propaganda machine in the Middle East grab hold of the defeatist rhetoric coming out of the mouths of the anti-war leftists in our country, they feel saddened, but when one of their own use political opportunism to undercut their efforts for success, they become heartbroken and spittin’ mad!!! I am not afraid to say that this man named John Murtha is a disgrace to the honor of the Corp and a coward who has the nerve to call for surrender, thousands of miles away from the heart of battle!

Our country’s bravest have accomplished great victories in this war and continue to do so. They are successfully razing the enemies of the civilized world on a daily basis and continue to do so proudly, in the name of and in the defense of freedom.

God bless them!

And God damned the yellow coward bastards who spit on the honor of our troops and the righteous cause for which they fight so honorably!

CAN WE DO IT???

That's it! I had it with MT! Folks can't even use the Typekey to login. 'sides, I felt it's time to give this place a more polished look. I been meaning to do it for quite some time and now that the construction season is winding down and family activities have become more limited for the fall/winter months, I thought I better take care of it before I start doing any serious posting. So what do you think? Looks/feels a little better? How was it registering and logging in? If you have any website and/or navigation problems, please let me know.

Back in the Saddle!!!

Ok folks, it?s about time I came back to rejoin the fray.

OMG, what a bummer summer! For a time of year that?s traditionally slow on news, I think it?s safe to say that this year we truly suffered an overload! Between the hurricanes, the WOT, the SCOTUS vacancies, the ongoing political wrangling, the liberal bias in the MSM and that blubbering freaking idiot Cindy Sheehan, the one thing on the minds of most Americans has been that which has hit us in a very direct way and that has been out-of-control oil prices squeezing dry the pockets of the typical energy consumer.

Over the past two years, my energy costs have doubled. In 2003 it only took $18 to fill up my gas tank and today it costs me nearly $36. In 2003 my heating oil budget was $140 a month and today it?s up to $260! Who?s to blame? Yeh, yeh, I know, I know... it?s all that Nazi prick Bush?s fault, right? Well, if you follow the liberal rhetoric coming from the bowels of the MSM, it sure seems to be the message being spewed on the gullible public. Then you have nincompoops like Bill O?Reilly ranting that the oil companies are responsible for raping the public and they somehow have ultimate sway over the commodities markets!

When you have conditions that have been plaguing an industry supplying what is arguably the most important commodity of modern times, including Middle Eastern hostilities, natural disasters, rising global demand and on top of all that, slap them with a relentless barrage of restrictions made possible by radical environmentalism, you end up with a very expensive product. The only way we can possibly affect the oil market is to loosen some of the most ridiculous environmental restrictions placed on the oil companies. We need to allow them to drill for more oil and refine more fuel here in the states and stop making them go through the costly and totally unnecessary process of supplying dozens of different blends of gas for every state in the union.

On Friday, the US House of Representatives passed a bill designed to loosen these restrictions on the oil industry and guess who was dead set against it. Yep? that?s right? the dopey donks and a sizeable bunch of environmentalist RINOS. Why would they be so opposed to such straight forward legislation that would take a major operation burden off the oil industry resulting in lower oil prices? Haven?t the donks been the foremost complainers about the rising cost of energy?

The answer is blatantly obvious. In reality, the dummycrats want the price of fuel to remain high so they can have political ammunition against the president and the GOP in the upcoming election cycle. Simply put, my response to idiots like Nancy Pelosi and the radical environmentalist left can be summed up in one simple acronym...

STFU!!!

Socialism Would Sink Noah's Ark!

As I?ve said somewhere in the past, the best humor always has an element of truth to it. The more it?s stepped in truth, the better it usually is. Well, I found the following piece on Michael Brown?s website, SpiritDaily.com. When I read it, I nearly fell off my chair LMAO!

Noah in America

In the year 2005, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in the United States, and said, "Once again the earth has become wicked and overpopulated, and I see the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans, thy sons and their wives."

He gave Noah the blueprints, saying, "You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights."

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard -- but no Ark.

"Noah!" He roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?"

"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed.

"I needed a building permit. I've been arguing with the inspector about the need for a sprinkler system. My neighbors claim that I've violated the neighborhood zoning laws by building the Ark in my yard and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the Development Appeal Board for a decision.

"Then the Department of Transportation demanded a bond be posted for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it.

"Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the spotted owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls -- but no go!

"When I started gathering the animals, I got sued by an animal rights group. They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They argued the accommodation was too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space. I am required to apply for 834 different licenses to keep wild beasts on private property.

"Then the EPA ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on Your proposed flood. Further, the pitch to water-poof the ark has been banned by the EPA as inimical to the environment.

"I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew.

"Immigration and Naturalization is checking the green-card status of most of the people who want to work. The scaffolding to build the superstructure is not OSHA-approved and is forbidden to use except for private structures less than 5 cubits.

"The trades unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only Union workers with Ark-building experience.

"To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species.

"So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 100 years for me to finish this Ark."

Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky. Noah looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean You're not going to destroy the world?"

"No," said the Lord. "The government beat me to it."

In an article over at National Review Online, Peter Kirsanow makes a brilliant case for why we need California Supreme Court Justice Janis Rodgers Brown on the federal bench and why the liberals are going berserk over the prospect of her confirmation. The woman thoroughly understands the true meaning of American freedom. The greatness of our country?s freedom lies in the concept of independent and personal ownership ? a concept which Justice Brown holds dear to her heart. As the daughter of a black sharecropper growing up in Alabama during the heated battle for black civil rights, Janis Rodgers Brown understood that the only way for anyone - black or otherwise - to enjoy the true blessings of liberty is to work hard for and lay absolute claim to his or her own individual piece of American pie. Allowing socialist liberal beurocracies to levy endless restrictions on what one can do with his or her piece of the American pie is clearly in direct opposition to the pursuit of the American dream. Every day, big government beurocrats and liberal activist judiciaries whittle away the rights granted unto us by the property clauses of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the US Constitution. The more control they claim over individual property rights, the less freedom we have to achieve success and the further we will slip into the dark bondage of communistic rule.

A simple stretch of the imagination?

Last week when President Bush gave an target="blank">historical speech on freedom in the former communist block state of Georgia, there appeared to be at least one seriously disgruntled nutcase lingering in the crowd of some 150,000 attendees. Regardless of the fact that the President issued yet another verbal blow to the forces of oppression and the enemies of freedom, some thankless commie lovin?, Bush hattin? individual decided it was a prime opportunity to make an attempt on the American President?s life by lobbing a grenade toward his podium. Knowing now that the grenade WAS REAL gave me quite a moment of pause and literally sent a chill down my spine. My mind started haphazardly calculating dozens of horrible "what if" scenarios.

What surprises me is that nobody had the thought process to make the connection between this recent event and the far-leftist pop culture here in America. This so-called assassination attempt appeared to mirror that 2003 music video by Madonna from her "American Life" album. At the end there?s a scene where she lobs a hand grenade at GW! Although he catches it, realizes it?s a Zippo grenade and lights a cigar with the damned thing, everybody knew what her real overall message was. Perhaps the fact that her message was just a little too straight forward was the reason why she yanked it right after its release. Never-the-less, the now-rare video is still talked about and sought after on the internet by pop cultists and radical anti-Bush liberals worldwide.

A simple stretch of the imagination?

I think not!

I SEE LONDON, I SEE FRANCE,

I SEE...

Sorry folks, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity;)

Special Shout-out!

Our fellow patriot and frequent visitor/commentator Paul (iteki) has been blessed once again with the honorable title of grandpa!

Baby Centreya was born around 6:00pm (I'm guessing May 17, 2005). She weighs out at 6lbs, 13ozs and stretches out to 20" long!

Two things; first, I hope Paul stops by to confirm the date and secondly, if my guess on the date is correct, Centreya gets to share the same birthday with my oldest son!!! Man, I love birthdays! We're pretty much an exclusive "ice cream" cake ONLY family too... mmmmmmm, yummy-yummy!

Prayers and best wishes for the new baby!

Life truely is God's greatest gift!

Don't ya just wish...

Matt Drudge is doing a damned good job in reporting how the MSM news sharks have lost all sanity in their pursuit of GW's blood. They are now actually trying to switch the onus for Newsweek?s credibility collapse on George Bush! Just for once, I'd love to see Scott McClellan tell the White House Press Corp exactly what he and the Bush administration thinks of the rabid left-wing MSM.

... just once!

L-L-L-LOOOOOSERRRRR!!!!!

For those of you who don't know him, Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) is a sad little man who has been chosen by his constituents to carry the water for the Democrat party. Once a relatively quite bureaucrat on Capitol Hill, Senate Minority Leader Reid now fully embodies the arrogant liberal pomposity so prevalent in the ranks of a party seemingly lost in their determination to hold on to their failed socialist ideology. It seems as though every week he just keeps intensifying his unfounded attacks on the President and the Republican Party as a whole. Through his constant bashing of George Bush?s mandated agenda and his push for obstructionism on the floor of the Senate, Harry Reid is proving more and more how absolutely pathetic he and his fellow hypocrites really are.

With President Bush overseas in Europe this weekend to commemorate VE day, Senator Reid saw fit to publicly call the President a "looser." Although he later realized his error of judgment and acknowledged his mistake publicly, I can?t help but think of the words my mother once told me; "if it?s on the lips, it?s in the heart." Reid should be a little more careful not to throw stones in glass houses. Considering all the heavy drum beating in recent weeks by the Senate Democrats over the so called "questionable ethics" of Republican House Majority Leader Tom Delay, and considering the more substantial "questionable ethics" of Harry Reid, one would think that the Senator might consider using a different choice of words in the context of his political descent. The way I see it, the further Senator Reid keeps shoving his foot in his mouth, the easier it gets for folks to identify who the real looser is.

Jolly good show, old chap!

Congratulations to a right good friend of freedom from across the pond!

Blair secures historic third term...

Although I don?t agree with much of his liberal social policies, I gratefully applaud him for his commitment and his steadfast dedication in helping us fight the WOT. I?ve been keeping a distant watch on the UK election campaigning for the past few weeks and I must admit that Tony Blair has done a real great job in beating back the nay-sayers who constantly attack him with regard to his position on the war in Iraq. And I thought the liberal MSM here in the states was especially rotten toward GW Bush during his re-election campaign. Sheesh! The liberal media over there makes the NY Times over here look like News Max! In addition to that, I don?t think I can honestly say that I ever saw or heard of any pro-Blair or ?support the royal troops? rallies taking place over there. At least we had a large ground swell of support for GW and the sacrifice of our nation?s bravest warriors. It appeared as if Blair had none what-so-ever! Also, the overall level of nasty hatred and vitriol which that guy endured was nothing short of remarkable.

AND HE?S CONSIDERED A LIBERAL BY OUR STANDARDS!!!

Well, anyway... I'm comforted in the knowledge that Blair's re-election is gonna cause the English Commies over there to wake up tomorrow morning with their knickers totaly in a bunch. Oh, the gnashing of teeth will be deafening:)!

America's Iron Parachute

After a week of absolute insanity I finally got an opportunity to rant about something that has been on my mind and the mind of many other Americans for quite some time now.

Did you miss me?

Ok, ok, you don't have to answer that.

I missed me and that's all that counts;)

Every week when I get my paycheck ? before most of it gets dolled out to bills - I take a moment to look down at what gets withheld for tithing to the Secular Church of the Almighty Gummint. Like most of you out there, it absolutely disgusts me. Looking at it kinda reminds me of how I feel when I look at all the ridiculous surcharges tacked onto my telephone bill every month. As I explained in an earlier post on 4/15 (National Bend Over and Grab Your Ankles Day), I am of the rational understanding that income tax is a necessity for our government to operate. Likewise, I feel that the money I?m forced by law to fork over every week is done so sacrificially in order to keep my country from falling into absolute chaos (not to say that it isn?t operating under controlled chaos to begin with). So typically speaking, I?m quite alright with making my painful contribution to the system. However, when filthy, lying politicians squander my hard earned cash on special interest pork, redistribute it through socialist entitlement programs and establish worthless beurocracies that do little more than generate entire landfills of red tape, that?s when my blood starts to boil. Worse yet, when those same filthy rat bastards wipe their asses with the US Constitution or sell this country a bag of goods that?s inherently defective under mandate that we need to participate by law, that?s when I start pissing fire.

When FDR established the Social Security program in 1935, the overwhelming majority thought it to be a brilliant move to ensure a safety net would be provided for American?s entering retirement. Coming away from the great depression, most folks became very receptive of economic recovery programs put in place by the government. Without haste, the federalist Democrats jumped at the opportunity to generate massive sums of imaginary assets which the government has summarily squandered away. In fact, the entire Social Security program has been nothing more than system of smoke and mirrors and is built entirely on issuance of IOUs. In order to generate more assets than payouts, the system originally set the age of benefit eligibility at 65. In 1935, the average life expectancy was only 63. At the time of its inception, this ensured that more money would be flowing into the system than flowing out. What?s more is that for decades, congressional politicians have deceived the public into believing that the system was some sort of ?lock box? or a ?trust fund? where the money you contribute into the system would be paid back upon retirement. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The fact is that after a lifetime of paying into this so called ?trust fund,? not one penny of that money has ever belonged exclusively to the contributor. The government retains ownership of the money and after your death, the rest of those ?trust funds? get spilled right back into the system. In short, the whole damned thing is based on yet another classic socialist model of wealth redistribution.

Not surprisingly though, for decades after this massive government rip-off was put into motion, nobody with half a brain bothered to stop and crunch numbers in order to foresee the projected shortfalls in the system. For one thing, the life expectancy of those becoming eligible had increased substantially and continues to rise as medical technology evolves. In the beginning, there used to be several workers paying into the system for every retiree drawing benefits from it. As the average life expectancy increases, more retirees become eligible to draw from the system and at the current rate, it won?t be long before there are more beneficiaries than there are payees. Nor did anyone foresee the drastic drop in the rate of population growth. Off the top of my head, two contributing factors come into play here. First, as a result of the feminist movement, more and more women are choosing to enter the career work force instead of committing to what was commonly known as the traditional family model consisting of a working father and a mother staying home to care for several children. Secondly, nobody foresaw the legalized murder of 30 million unborn children at the hands of the abortion industry. Just think; if it weren?t for abortion, the Social Security program might not be as much of a problem as it is today. Simply put, the system was inherently flawed from the start in that it would always require a consistent population growth which unfortunately is just too far removed from probability.

For the past 70 years or so Democrats have been using entitlement programs like Social Security to maintain their status quo in Washington by continuing to promise government handouts to the largest segment of the American voting population, namely the poor and the working class. Yet, despite the fact that Social Security is destined for bankruptcy, they continue to support the concept without offering reasonable solutions to fix it. So as to maintain the program, the only solution the Democrats ever come with is to raise taxes in order to keep it solvent. Yeh, that?ll work. Just continue steeling more and more from hard working Americans in order to keep a failed entitlement system afloat? right. In all fairness though, even the Republicans ? who traditionally stand for personal responsibility and less government oversight - have continually refused to overhaul or scrap the Social Security program altogether. They know the system can?t be stopped on a dime because so many Americans have been forced to buy into the system and in the end they have absolutely nothing else to fall back on. If the Republicans yank the carpet out from under those people, I guarantee they wouldn?t have a prayer of keeping their majority in Washington. It?s sort of a ?catch 22,? now isn?t it? Unfortunately, there?s just no easy way out. And another thing, why is it that the windbags on Capital Hill get to opt out of this failed socialist system, but we can?t? They just keep voting themselves raises and, in addition, have the comfort of retiring with a pension plan appropriately nicknamed ?The Golden Fleece? where after retirement, they get to continue receiving the same pay they got while in office until they die, not top mention the occasional increases from time to time due to cost of living adjustments. There?s something seriously wrong with that whole idea, but I digress.

The only reasonable way for us to crawl out from underneath this ridiculous mess - started 70 years ago by Congressional Democrats - is to turn ALL ownership of retirement savings over to the hard working individuals who fight to keep this country?s economy alive. While this can no way be accomplished overnight, President Bush has come up with some at least one very good idea to get the ball rolling in the right direction. By allowing workers the option to take a very small percentage of their Social Security contributions and put them into private investment accounts (either stocks or bonds) it would give them personal ownership of at least some of their retirement savings. However, it shouldn?t stop there. Congress first needs to stop raiding the Social Security system in order to pay for special interest pork. Next, they need to cut out the tremendous amount of wasteful spending in the budget including most of the other ridiculous entitlement programs still in effect so as to pay back all the funds they previously stole from the system. Finally, there needs to be incremental increases in personal retirement ownership. I?m not sure how it would work out in the math, but there needs to be an annual increase in the percentage of total Social Security contributions going into personal accounts so that individuals can eventually own all of their retirement savings and although I?m opposed to most government oversight, there should also be a certain amount of regulation in place which would limit the investment options on those private accounts in order to prevent substantial investment loss. However long it takes, there will eventually come a day when every penny of Social Security contributions will be privately owned. In the end, those who work their whole lives building up their retirement savings will finally be able to enjoy the fruits of their own labor and not have to depend or live off the sweat of others.

If you hadn?t noticed, I didn?t cite a single dollar amount or statistic or mention anything about the national debt or inflation or yadda, yadda, yadda? There?s already more than enough financial research and information available on this subject available out there to anyone brave enough to risk having their head explode. I would also say to let those numbers speak for themselves, but to rely on one accountant?s projections for the future of Social Security is pure folly. Let?s face it folks, this crap doesn?t really require an MBA or freakin? degree in rocket science in order to see what?s been going on here. It?s simple common sense! Our successful economic society was built on the principles of personal ownership. If you bust your ass for a living and strive to improve your personal economic status, then you deserve to reap the benefits of your own hard work. Without that incentive, you are simply left to rely on the hard work of others in order to survive which is inherently wrong to begin with.

A tough pill to swallow...

Every Friday I get the unfortunate privilege of listening to NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg for an hour on WABC?s John Gambling show where he gets to pat himself on the back for all his grand socialist accomplishments. For those of you not familiar with this guy, Bloomberg is the epitome of the acronym ?RINO.? Up until the 2001 NYC mayoral election, he was a life long Democrat embracing all the political views of the far-left including, but not limited to higher taxes, gun control, abortion on demand and gay rights. Since then, he has continued his charade of calling himself a Republican while acting like a typical Democrat. From raising NYC taxes through the roof to imposing a Nazi-like ban on smoking throughout NYC, Mike Bloomberg has proven to be quite an ardent socialist liberal. When I hear him say things like "Guns kill people, it's time to get them off the streets," knowing full well that he employs his own personal armed bodyguards, it just makes me want to smash my radio into a million little pieces! Typical liberal hypocrite! What?s good for him isn?t equally deserved for folks like you or I!

Anyway, this past Friday I heard Bloomy say that he?s planning to increase taxes for a $3 million program aimed at promoting use of the morning after pill "Plan-B." Of course they plan on using that money to inform school kids about this new wonder drug instead of pushing for abstinence and I?m sure that they will conveniently forget about telling them that it?s just another form of abortion, it?s only 89% effective and like "the pill," there are some very real and risky side effects. Ongoing studies have found that use of birth control pills increases the likelihood of stroke and pulmonary embolism, anxiety and depression and research is still ongoing as to weather or not oral contraceptives are linked to breast and uterine cancers. Like its predecessor "Preven," Plan-B is similar to taking a quadruple dosage of a birth control pill thereby forcing the womb to reject the fertilized egg. I liken this to a scenario where a child is desperately reaching out for the comfort and safety of its mother?s loving arms and instead the mother throws the child off the top of a 20 story building. The deeper issue here is that people need to wake up and realize that as soon as a human egg is fertilized, the mystery of human life begins, intentional or otherwise it is still a viable human being with specific needs to maintain its life. By denying that human being - a defenseless unborn child - the essentials needed for him or her to live, weather you like it or not, you are committing murder.

A right to kill?

I am undergoing a momentary lapse of sanity this morning. While there are few things in this nutty world that confuse the hell out of me, I do feel the occasional need to smack my head into a brick wall in hopes of achieving enlightenment into what I would otherwise consider to be an obvious display of blatant ignorance. With that said, this sad little story caught my attention in a very disturbing way: It appears that a man in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida determined that his automobile was no longer capable of continuing its life in an efficient and self-sustaining manner, saying that it "outlived its usefulness," and therefore, decided to put it out of its misery by firing five rounds from his .38 into the vehicle's hood. As a result, he was arrested by Broward County sheriff's deputies. While the firearm must have been legally registered and because of limits in current law, the authorities could only charge him with discharging the weapon in public.

However, it confuses the heck out of me to think that if this guy wanted to, he could have just gone to the Florida courts to get the proper legal permission. Why not? The courts seam to have no problem with allowing those having legal ownership of something the prerogative to make important decisions over it such as those involving weather or not it should live or die. Considering the fact that the state of Florida has no problem with allowing a woman "owned" by her husband to be put out of her misery because he believes she has outlived her usefulness and proves so in court should make doing so to one?s car no big deal what so ever. Right?

Benedict XVI - Defender of the Faith!

I cannot thank God enough for giving us Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger as our new Pope Benedict XVI!!! This guy is both the shield and the sword that the Roman Catholic Church needs. They don?t call him "God's Rottweiler" for nothing! He will rule the Church on doctrinal issues with the iron hand of God! As we live in such a tumultuous time with the constant rise of rabid reformationism attacking the Church from within, there needs to be a leader with the theological muscle necessary to beat back these forces of evil and their poisonous liberal influence over Christ?s flock. Knowing well what the election of this righteous man to the throne of Saint Peter signifies, the devil must certainly be shaking in fear. As it is, the reaction from those who choose to live their lives in spite of God?s moral authority has been one of absolute disillusion. As soon as the announcement of the new Pope was made, I fell to my knees in tears thanking God, but within half an hour, new reports began circulating from the MSM painting the election of Cardinal Ratzinger as the worst possible thing that could have happened, certain that his hard line on doctrinal issues would bring about a theological civil war within the Catholic Church itself.

Here?s a great example of what I?m talking about. Andrew Sullivan ? the liberal Brit columnist who laughably tries to call himself a Catholic ? is in the process of having a nervous breakdown. In recent days, his fears that Cardinal Ratzinger would be chosen as Pope John Paul II?s successor have been filled with a sense of impending doom. After reading some of his blog posts, one might get the feeling that he was anticipating a meteor the size of Texas to fall out of the sky and land on his pointy liberal head. Then, with the announcement and confirmation of his worst fears, his tone clearly shifted into full meltdown mode as indicated in the following post...

And so the Catholic church accelerates its turn toward authoritarianism, hostility to modernity, assertion of papal supremacy and quashing of internal debate and dissent. We are back to the nineteenth century. Maybe this is a necessary moment. Maybe pressing this movement to its logical conclusion will clarify things. But those of us who are struggling against what our Church is becoming, and the repressive priorities it is embracing, can only contemplate a form of despair. The Grand Inquisitor, who has essentially run the Church for the last few years, is now the public face. John Paul II will soon be seen as a liberal. The hard right has now cemented its complete control of the Catholic church. And so ... to prayer. What else do we now have?

Poor Andy, he?s having such a hard time with this that it almost makes you want to email him a recording of the world?s saddest song played on the world?s smallest violin. Sheesh!

And with that, I must reiterate that I am totally fed up with the liberal MSM and their attacks on the time honored traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. All day yesterday I had to put up with the overwhelmingly biased news reports on how recent polls were indicating that most Americans were so desperate to see the next Pope soften the Church?s stance on things like celibacy in the priesthood, contraception, abortion, euthanasia and women being ordained as priests. Every hour these vultures would report on weather or not the Vatican?s chimney puffed any clouds of smoke and then they would turn to the thoughts of folks passing by on American city streets. In every instance the reporter seemed to only find opinions of liberal minded individuals voicing their displeasure with the Church on the aforementioned issues without giving voice to any individual presenting a difference of opinion. I just couldn?t help but notice how saddened they all sounded by the fact that the Cardinals would likely elect another doctrinal conservative to lead the flock. Why doesn?t any of this surprise me? I knew all to well from the past that the MSM was heavily biased against Christianity. Seeing how much positive coverage they gave to Pope John Paul II upon his death, I was almost left with a favorable impression of them, but after hearing their coverage of the seemingly endless caterwauling from anti-traditionalist Catholics wishing the Church would change to fit their questionable lifestyles, I was once again left with the impression that the MSM has nothing but utter contempt for my religion.

Now that we are finally under new leadership, I sincerely hope that Benedict XVI drops the hammer and cleans house. I hope he draws that proverbial line in the sand and lets the world know that while God?s love for us is limitless and absolute, his requirements for how we live are not to be watered down by a bunch of humanist liberals seeking to undermine His Divine Authority and Holy Mother Church. Hopefully, if Cardinal Ratzinger?s homily prior to the beginning of the conclave on Monday is any indication of his knowledge and position on the evil that seeks to scatter Christ?s flock, then we are thankfully going to be in for quite a treat...

How many winds of doctrine we have known in recent decades, how many ideological currents, how many ways of thinking... The small boat of thought of many Christians has often been tossed about by these waves - thrown from one extreme to the other: from Marxism to liberalism, even to libertinism; from collectivism to radical individualism; from atheism to a vague religious mysticism; from agnosticism to syncretism, and so forth. Every day new sects are created and what Saint Paul says about human trickery comes true, with cunning which tries to draw those into error (cf Eph 4, 14). Having a clear faith, based on the Creed of the Church, is often labeled today as a fundamentalism. Whereas, relativism, which is letting oneself be tossed and "swept along by every wind of teaching", looks like the only attitude (acceptable) to today's standards. We are moving towards a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as for certain and which has as its highest goal one's own ego and one's own desires.

I pray for the new Holy Father and I also pray for the continued strengthening of the Roman Catholic Church. I also pray that Benedict XVI will be successful in gathering Christ?s flock closer to home while fighting off the modernist liberal wolves who seek to poison God?s children with their deceitful lies.

Dominus Vobiscum.

VIVE IL PAPA BENEDICT XVI!!!

Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger!!!

Without a doubt, he's the best man for the job!

Ye shall know them by their fruits...

Back almost two years ago when the Rev. Gene Robinson was confirmed as the first openly gay bishop in the Episcopal Church's history, it sent a shock wave through the entire Conservative Christian community. While it had been know for years that openly homosexual men were operating as priests throughout several Protestant denominations, never before had any been elevated to this rank. Although homosexuals have a long history of involvement in the Christian ministry, it hasn?t been until just recently that they?ve been emerging from their closets and voicing pride over their deviant sexuality orientation. To the best of my knowledge it has only been the Roman Catholic Church that continues to maintain a ?don?t ask ? don?t tell? policy with respect to its homosexual clergy. According to Latin Rite, any one entering the priesthood must swear an oath of celibacy regardless of sexual orientation. As described in the encyclical, "Sacerdotalis Caelibatus" by Pope Paul VI in 1967, celibacy in the priesthood is an act of imitating Christ, who Himself was celibate. Doing so is an act of sacrificial love where the priest gives himself totally to the service of God and the Church in preparation for the coming Kingdom of God, where Christ said, "In the resurrection, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven" (Mt 22:30).

Personally speaking, I feel it?s bad enough that this Christian ?Bishop? Robinson proclaims himself an openly professed homosexual which directly contradicts nature and the teachings of the Holy Bible in the first place, but now he?s got the chutzpah to be giving words of praise to Planned Parenthood - an organization responsible for the murder of millions of unborn children! How is it that a respected denomination of Christianity chose to elevate this kind of a man to such a high position of theological authority? Being an old school Catholic who?s lived with religious discrimination throughout most of my life - due in part to the many historical misgivings of my own church - I believe I?m the last person who should be criticizing other forms of Christian worship, but am I the only one here that notices the rapid decline in the moral message coming from those claiming to be authorities on the subject?

What troubles me so is the fact that so many out there have become so desensitized to evil representing itself in shades of grey that they just go about their lives indifferent to the fact that the walls of morality are crumbling around them. Sadly, we live in a world filled with moral relativism which is tearing at the very fabric of our decent society. So many things that used to be considered wrong are now being portrayed as liberating or acceptable. I could be mistaken here, but I tend to think that most people have got to be getting sick and tired of waking up every morning and seeing the lines that once distinguished the difference between good and evil keep getting more and more blurred every day. I mean, look at what?s being spewed across our TV sets and making news in the tabloids. Without a doubt, we are living in an age were confusion reigns supreme and make no mistake about it folks; confusion only comes from the devil.

I firmly believe that those who choose to preach about the goodness of the Lord should do so without changing the rules as they go along. Be mindful that the true heart of a man shows in the example they set for others. Simply put, if you are out there abusing your church given authority by teaching others that evil is good you are clearly in opposition to God?s plan and have no business ministering biblical truth to others.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. - 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Wadda ya know, it's that time again!

Today was a painful day for me as it probably was for millions of other Americans out there. Thank God most of us only have to go through it once a year. Even though we try to prepare in the days leading up to it, it?s never, ever enough. It?s always an uncomfortable feeling, sometimes even a little painful and you always feel so violated the day after. I could have put it off for a couple of months, but they say it?s always better to just do it and get it over with otherwise it will just come back to haunt you. One thing that really made it much easier is that for a nominal fee you can now get it done right over the internet. Ahhhhhh, the joys of technology! It?s become such a simple and common procedure that I actually decided to let my kids watch this year so they could know what to look forward to when they grow up (hehehe). I think they were a little frightened at first, but I reassured them that as long as Liberal Socialists like Hillary Clinton aren?t running the show, they?ll probably be spared the pain of having to bend over and grab their ankles every April 15th.

Honestly though folks, I don't mind paying some due to Uncle Sam because I know it takes greenback for the gummint to operate. I really don't mind paying some of that burden through income tax or local/federal sales taxes either.......to a reasonable point.

I believe EVERYONE should pay equally into the system. No excuses! I see nothing wrong with paying a small percentage of your earnings (like maybe 5%) into taxes. I mean, for cryin? out loud, to be tithed to the Roman Catholic Church requires 10 freakin' percent of your total income no matter how much or how little you make! And THEY, the folks in the church, are the peeps that are supposed to be responsible for the lion's share of caring for the poor, the homeless, the unemployed, the disparaged and the downtrodden. They are supposed to be the ones who bring charity to the underprivileged by bringing the message of love and hope that faith in God provides. Since when did the gummint become a house of secular worship demanding that those who make little pay none and those who make more pay everything?!?!?! From each according to his means, to each according to his needs????? Yeah, right!

More importantly then that - and here's the bottom line; If I'm gonna tithe to the almighty gummint for 35 FREAKIN? PERCENT OF MY HARD EARNED INCOME, you better believe I want to see some damned accountability for what they spend my money on!!!!!!!

1. I want my hard earned money to pay for the protection of my nation and its borders and kicking the living shit outta anyone who attacks or even threatens the peaceful existence of my country!

2. I want my hard earned money to pay for emergency response people in the community where I live in case my kid falls off his dirt bike and breaks his neck or I total my car from hittin' Mr. Buck-in-heat runnin? across the road after little Miss Doe.

3. I want my hard earned money to pay for police to enforce the laws that protect my constitutional and my God given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

4. I want my hard earned money to pay for community infrastructure (i.e. water/sewer, highway, sanitation, etc.) which allows me and my neighbors to live relatively comfortable lives.

5. I want my hard earned money to pay reasonable salaries to the minimally required number of people needed to oversee the operation of the above mentioned items.

6. And finally, I want my hard earned money to pay for the education that I want my children to have. If the school closest to me isn?t making the grade and serves as nothing more than a processing center for liberal indoctrination, then I should be allowed to get a voucher, yank my kids outta there and place them in a quality school of my choice. Since homeschooling is my preferred choice, I don?t think it?s unreasonable for me to want to use that money to buy the books and schooling supplies needed to accomplish that task on my own.

HOWEVER!!!!!!.............

If you plan on taxing the shit outta me to pay for a bunch of Fraudian know-it-alls and utopian socialists to indoctrinate my kids into Godless, socialist, and communist ways of thinking, pay for special interest groups like the homos, the tree huggers, the baby killers, the feminazis, et al, and then make it harder for me to enjoy the freedoms granted to me by my maker and the founding fathers of my great nation.........

........THEN YOU CAN TAKE YOUR REDICULOUS COMMIE TAX CODE AND SHOVE IT RIGHT WHERE THE PROCTOLOGIST MAKES HIS LIVING!
