I spoke about this in length, back a couple of years ago when the first round of leaked emails hit the streets. Since then, the green communist movement (new color of the old RED communist movement) has backed off much of the global warming hype, largely due to the climate scientist email scandal appropriately named "CLIMATE-GATE." Now we're dealing with just CLIMATE CHANGE, as opposed to the more radical term "GLOBAL WARMING," leaving out the nagging belief that global climate fluctuations are somehow man made, out of mainstream circulation so as not to seem overtly insane.

A new batch of emails have hit the street and they appear to crush any shred of doubt that global climate research has manipulated data intentionally for the purpose of socialist political gain...
A new batch of 5,000 emails among scientists central to the assertion that humans are causing a global warming crisis were anonymously released to the public yesterday, igniting a new firestorm of controversy nearly two years to the day after similar emails ignited the Climategate scandal.
Three themes are emerging from the newly released emails: (1) prominent scientists central to the global warming debate are taking measures to conceal rather than disseminate underlying data and discussions; (2) these scientists view global warming as a political “cause” rather than a balanced scientific inquiry and (3) many of these scientists frankly admit to each other that much of the science is weak and dependent on deliberate manipulation of facts and data.
Like Egyptians from all walks of life, we in the Muslim Brotherhood are taking part in the popular uprising to depose a repressive dictator. The overwhelming majority of Egyptians demand the immediate ouster of Hosni Mubarak and his regime.
Once this basic demand is met, we seek to share in the debate sweeping the country and to be part of the resolution, which we hope will culminate in a democratic form of government. With oil futures prepared to exceed $100 per barrel because of political upheaval in Egypt, why is it that the Obama administration and his bureaucrat brown-shirts in the EPA are continuing to stand on the necks of domestic oil producers here in the United States? Sharp rises in cost at the gas pump in an economy already gripped with inflation is a recipe for disaster. Seriously folks, WTF are we doing, still depending on foreign sources of oil? Why are we continuing to line the pockets of nations who are not friendly to us in order to buy THEIR resources? None of this makes any sense. If shit REALLY hits the fan in Egypt and the Suez Canal oil shipments are disrupted, how long will it be before the United States uses military intervention to correct that problem? I thought the leftists in this country (now in control of the federal government) were dead-set against spilling blood for oil.
Like it or not, in order to secure our country's economic future and pay off our MASSIVE debt, we need to have abundant, inexpensive energy to increase our GDP. At present, oil and coal are our most abundant natural resource for producing energy. Alternative energy sources are not able to meet that demand, sufficiently. Since global warming is proving to be nothing but a crock of shit, there are only two other reasons I can think of for developing alternative sources of energy: First, to improve air quality in urban areas, and secondly, because we are still unsure of how much oil and coal we'll have left. Alternative energy technology is making advancements, but not nearly fast enough for it to be cost effective. In the mean time, we NEED to have less restricted access to our own carbon based fuels to produce cheap energy. That would go a long way toward reducing inflation and boosting our economic output.

St. Petersburg, Russia - China and Russia have decided to renounce the US dollar and resort to using their own currencies for bilateral trade, Premier Wen Jiabao and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced late on Tuesday.
Chinese experts said the move reflected closer relations between Beijing and Moscow and is not aimed at challenging the dollar, but to protect their domestic economies.
"About trade settlement, we have decided to use our own currencies," Putin said at a joint news conference with Wen in St. Petersburg.
The two countries were accustomed to using other currencies, especially the dollar, for bilateral trade. Since the financial crisis, however, high-ranking officials on both sides began to explore other possibilities.
The yuan has now started trading against the Russian rouble in the Chinese interbank market, while the renminbi will soon be allowed to trade against the rouble in Russia, Putin said.
"That has forged an important step in bilateral trade and it is a result of the consolidated financial systems of world countries," he said...

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.
Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.
Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.
The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.
Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.
And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming...

By removing language from President Reagan's 1983 Executive Order 12425, this international law enforcement body now operates - now operates - on American soil beyond the reach of our own top law enforcement arm, the FBI, and is immune from Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
What, exactly does this mean? It means that INTERPOL now has the full authority to conduct investigations and other law enforcement activities on U.S. soil, with full immunity from U.S. laws such as the Freedom of Information Act and with complete independence from oversight from the FBI.
In short, a global law enforcement entity now has full law-enforcement authority in the U.S. without any check on its power afforded by U.S. law and U.S. law enforcement agencies.

As we prepare to close out the first decade of the second millennium since Christ walked the earth, I pray that all of you who are reading this are prepared for what is now all but inevitable. Peace and strength be with you all... and God help us.
I know I said I would be doing light posting this week, leading up to Christmas, but as I also said, unless it would be "brief and/or rather important..." Well, in my book, this ranks pretty high on my list of things that are "rather important."
There is scope for debate – and innumerable newspaper quizzes – about who was the most influential public figure of the year, or which the most significant event. But there can be little doubt which word won the prize for most important adjective. 2009 was the year in which "global" swept the rest of the political lexicon into obscurity. There were "global crises" and "global challenges", the only possible resolution to which lay in "global solutions" necessitating "global agreements". Gordon Brown actually suggested something called a "global alliance" in response to climate change. (Would this be an alliance against the Axis of Extra-Terrestrials?)
Some of this was sheer hokum: when uttered by Gordon Brown, the word "global", as in "global economic crisis", meant: "It's not my fault". To the extent that the word had intelligible meaning, it also had political ramifications that were scarcely examined by those who bandied it about with such ponderous self-importance. The mere utterance of it was assumed to sweep away any consideration of what was once assumed to be the most basic principle of modern democracy: that elected national governments are responsible to their own people – that the right to govern derives from the consent of the electorate.
The dangerous idea that the democratic accountability of national governments should simply be dispensed with in favour of "global agreements" reached after closed negotiations between world leaders never, so far as I recall, entered into the arena of public discussion. Except in the United States, where it became a very contentious talking point, the US still holding firmly to the 18th-century idea that power should lie with the will of the people.

Back in September of 2007, I was alarmed at the language coming from the Vatican on the issue of global warming. Well, today there is news of the Pontiff weighing in on the issue once again, just in time for the gathering at Copenhagen.
VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Industrialized nations must recognize their responsibility for the environmental crisis, shed their consumerism and embrace more sober lifestyles, Pope Benedict said on Tuesday.
The pope's call for more environmental commitments came in his message for the Roman Catholic Church's annual World Day of Peace, to be marked on Jan 1 and whose theme is "If You Want to Cultivate Peace, Protect Creation."

He called on all people to "move beyond a purely consumerist mentality" so that they could "rethink the path which we are traveling together" and adapt "a lifestyle marked by sobriety and solidarity" between the haves and the have nots.
Environmental issues deserved the attention of the world community because the were [sic] human rights issues that could influence the right to life, food, health and development.
"Sad to say, it is all too evident that large numbers of people in different countries and areas of our planet are experiencing increased hardship because of the negligence or refusal of many others to exercise responsible stewardship over the environment," he said.
Once again, I am beside myself. As a conservationist, I can understand where he is coming from on the issue of squandering natural resources in the name of want and greed, but the socialism aspect of his message is causing me to pull out what little hair I have left on my head. As a traditionalist Catholic living in America, I consider myself someone who stands apart from many others in this country who are appearing more and more as Catholics in name only or CINOs. I find it appalling, that many of them think most priests are pedophiles, priests should be allowed to marry, women should be priests, all war and capital punishment is evil, God is excepting of homosexuality, and human life doesn't really begin until childbirth. I also find it equally disturbing when I hear them rag about how Pope Benedict XVI is some right wing Nazi who is unsympathetic to progressive Catholic views. Frankly speaking, Catholicism should have never evolved into its present day format, but what liberal Catholics are failing to realize is that 40 years ago, Fr. Joseph Ratzinger was instrumental in orchestrating the progressive transformation of the Church known as the Second Ecumenical Council of the Vatican, or Vatican II.
Even though Pope Benedict has said that Vatican II did not accomplish what he originally intended, he is determined to hold fast to the new dogmatic principals.
Well, it appears that "God's Rottweiler" has for some time now been espousing philosophies which leave me a bit unnerved and without proper clarification might cause an even larger rift between conservative capitalists and the socialists within the Church.
The Pope is expected to use his first address to the United Nations to deliver a powerful warning over climate change in a move to adopt protection of the environment as a "moral" cause for the Catholic Church and its billion-strong following.
The New York speech is likely to contain an appeal for sustainable development, and it will follow an unprecedented Encyclical (a message to the wider church) on the subject, senior diplomatic sources have told The Independent.
It will act as the centrepiece of a US visit scheduled for next April - the first by Benedict XVI, and the first Papal visit since 1999 - and round off an environmental blitz at the Vatican, in which the Pope has personally led moves to emphasise green issues based on the belief that climate change is affecting the poorest people on the planet, and the principle that believers have a duty to "protect creation".

Doesn't the Pope realize that capitalism is the economic powerhouse which fuels charitable contributions in the first place? I can understand if he's concerned that humans should be more charitable and I can understand if he's concerned that humans should be more conscious of conserving natural resources. As I have said in the past; I am a conservationist, not an environmentalist. The conservationist is mindful of not trashing his surroundings or squandering its resources. I believe in sound and practical environmental management. I am dead set against littering. I also believe in giving back to the earth what I take. But to suggest that I or even the largest corporation on earth can have any impact on altering global climate trends is pure folly! When you think of the levels of carbon dioxide man contributes to our atmosphere compared to that which comes from volcanoes and all the oceans around the world, how can anyone possibly think that by our efforts, we can make any significant change?

Ultimately, what I see going on here is another misguided attempt by the Church to increase the numbers of faithful by appealing to the trend of the day. A mysterious light display appearing over Norway last night has left thousands of residents in the north of the country baffled.
Witnesses from Trøndelag to Finnmark compared the amazing sight to anything from a Russian rocket to a meteor or a shock wave - although no one appears to have mentioned UFOs yet.
The phenomenon began when what appeared to be a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain. It stopped mid-air, then began to circulate.
Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from its centre - lasting for ten to twelve minutes before disappearing completely.
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute was flooded with telephone calls after the light storm - which astronomers have said did not appear to have been connected to the aurora, or Northern Lights, so common in that area of the world.
The mystery deepened tonight as Russia denied it had been conducting missile tests in the area...

An official announcement by the Obama administration disclosing the reality of extraterrestrial life is imminent. For several months, senior administration officials have been quietly deliberating behind closed doors how much to disclose to the world about extraterrestrial life. Dissatisfaction among powerful institutions such as the U.S. Navy over the decades-long secrecy policy has given a boost to efforts to disclose the reality of extraterrestrial life and technology.
The impending disclosure announcement follows upon the secret implementation of a year long openness policy on UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Over the period February 12-14, 2008, the United Nations held closed doors discussions where approximately 30 nations secretly agreed on a new openness policy on UFOs and extraterrestrial life in 2009. First, UFOs would continue to appear around the world; and second, the openness policy would not lead to social unrest in liberal democracies. The Vatican has just completed a five day conference astrobiology where scientists convened to discuss the detection and implications of extraterrestrial life. A major driving force behind the conference was the Director of the Vatican Observatory, the Jesuit priest Father Jose Gabriel Funes. In May 2008, Funes gave an interview to the Vatican’s L’Osservatore Romano newspaper saying that the existence of intelligent extraterrestrials posed no problems to Catholic theology. The conference itself was officially convened by the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Sciences, chaired by its religious leader Bishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo, and was held on private Vatican grounds from November 6-10. Together with Funes’ 2008 interview and subsequent public comments by him, the conference demonstrates a welcome openness by the Vatican on the possibility and implications of extraterrestrial life. The Vatican’s openness to discussion of extraterrestrial life is no accident. It is part of an openness policy secretly adopted by the United Nations in February 2008. In fact, the Vatican is playing a leading role in preparing the world for extraterrestrial disclosure.

I don't normally pay much in the way of homage to paranormal activity. Most of what is out there can be explained one way or another through scientific analysis. Like most folks, I believe in what I can see and that includes believing in God. Just look around at the absolute beauty, brilliance and complexity of what makes up the universe and the Earth that sustains our life forms. We were no accident and we didn't just jump from monkey to man overnight by chaotic circumstance.
I believe our the creation of our species is result of genetic evolutionary intervention by our Creator. I also believe that angles and demons, as mentioned in ancient texts, are what we would classify today as extraterrestrial beings and extra dimensional manifestations of spiritual energies. Regardless, how vain can we be to think that in the infinite vastness of the universe, we are the only living beings in existence.
As a Christian, I believe we were created with a soul. It is our soul that drive the vehicle of our humanly existence and it is the purity of our soul that determines our fate after we leave our mortal lives behind. God made us in the likeness of His image and after our mortal lives have ended, He wishes for our souls to return to Him. The only catch was that we were given free will and because of this we are susceptible to temptations that lead us away from God. I believe that He gave us the Commandments as a standard in which to live and maintain His good favor. And I also believe that for the salvation of our souls, he sent us his one and only son, Jesus, to show us the proper way home.
Unfortunately for us, there IS also a devil - a force of evil, if you will - and he does seek the ruin of our souls. He was given free reign to hold sway over the Earth and its inhabitants since the dawn of our time. He has perfected his wickedness over the millennia and has become the master of lies and deceit. His control over the minds of men is inherently the downfall of our civilized society. This world is gripped by insanity, which I believe is a byproduct of the devil's influence. Today, Man, in his conceit and arrogance, dismisses belief in God and declares that he can live and advance without God's divine providence. What folly!
At this point all I can firmly say is that there is some really weird things going on out there and almost nothing surprises me anymore, but this can end up being the mother of all mind-fucks. With the Vatican now girding itself for such a revelation, all indications appear that we are in for some serious social upheaval. All I can do is pray for the best, be prepared for the worst and despite any illusion the Devil may throw up in my face, I will continue to worship God as my Heavenly Father and Christ as my personal Savior.

We are at the precipice of an historic and devastating shift in global socio-economics. For better than a century, communist social engineers have been hard at work devising the complete takeover of free market society and are about to see their dreams of world-wide control come to fruition. Masked in a disguise of utopianist and liberal ideology, their real desire is to attain conquest over the entire planet and exercise absolute control over all humanity, giving over all power, wealth, and control into the hands of a select few.
One of the very first systems of control in the United States was organized in the early 20th century was the establishment of the Federal Reserve. By strapping the nation in debt, progressives sought to lay the foundation of eventual economic collapse. It was heralded as sound means of controlling the nation's monetary system, but from its inception, those who devised this method of financial slavery knew that in the end, only those in control of it would retain the spoils of victory.
The first storm has formed and is gathering more strength with the passing of each day. Through years of indoctrinating America's youth into believing that only by the collective spirit, can societies truly prosper, and demonizing the very principles that made our country the greatest nation in the world, academic elitists have been able to effectively lead the sheep to their slaughter, and as the majority of our nation's citizens lie fast asleep - preoccupied with their selfish motivations - the most powerful financial system in the world was slowly being brought to its knees. With the burst of the real estate bubble, our economy was left in near ruin. This, in turn, prompted those responsible for orchestrating the disaster in the first place to move against the mortgage and banking industry in order to place control of it into the their own hands - the hands of power hungry politicians - the last place anything should be entrusted for salvation.
Then, without pause, Washington set to work on taking control of the nation's health care system. Mandating coverage of all citizenry not only would give them the glory of appearing to be the provider of heath for every man, woman, and child - securing votes through dependence on government subsidies - but would also line the pockets of union officials, government contracted health care entities and special interest groups who, in turn, would funnel money back to the politicians who keep them fat and happy through campaign contributions and other "legitimate" loopholed kickbacks. The darker side of the reason why progressives want to control the nations health care system is their desire to effectively maintain population control through their mandates of free abortion, sterilization and euthanasia. The second storm has formed.
As if two storms wasn't bad enough, there is now a third storm looming on the horizon which, if it goes to a full category 5 as I fear it will, has the propensity of combining with the first two, creating an economic disaster of biblical proportions. This storm will be the death kneel for the United States of America and will mercilessly ravage what little vestiges of freedom and security we have left. This monster was spawned under the lie that carbon emissions have a direct impact on the changes in our earth's climate. First, they tried to attribute the rise in man made carbon dioxide to the descent in global temperatures. In the 1970s, they proclaimed that the Earth was heading toward a new ice age. When that didn't pan out due to the "unexpected" INCREASE in global temperatures, they quickly moved to recast it as "global warming." On cue, they tried to attribute the rise in man made carbon dioxide to the RISE in global temperatures. They claimed that in only a scant few years the earth would overheat, burn up everything and wipe out humanity. When that didn't pan out due to the "unexpected" DECLINE in global temperatures, they quickly moved to recast it as "global climate change."
Now, with the last free nation in the world fallen into the hands of socialist political control, the wealthiest and most powerful are moving at breakneck speed to drop the hammer and complete the deal ensuring the enslavement of all humanity.
This is not a conspiracy theory, folks. What I share with you here is not a hodgepodge of unsubstantiated fact or innuendo. These forces of evil are culminating into a perfect storm that will leave no ship unturned in its wake. I tell you folks with the utmost sincerity, this is the true face of the Beast as mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Not a single individual, as many had anticipated, but a broad network of the most extremely wealthy and powerful people on the face of the Earth, and we are looking down the barrel of the largest gun that has ever been pointed at he heart of individual liberty and freedom. Unless the good people of this nation and the world wake up from their slumber and do what is necessary as soon as possible, our future will cease to exist.

I don't think I need to elaborate on what a miserable year this is turning out to be so far for me, but with Fred Thompson out of the race for President, my prognosis for the rest of the year (and the next 4 years) is not looking very good. Not to mention, I've been living in computer hell for the past month.
I finally got that new power supply into my box only to realize that the motherboard was what shit the bed. I picked up a used Intel board on eBay for about $100.00 and swapped over all the existing hardware from the old box to the new. I first tried to salvage the MB and other hardware from a second box I had laying around, but I couldn't get any of it to work. Then I fried a DVD drive and a LAN card. Thankfully I had a third LAN card laying around. To make a long bitter story short, I dropped about $500.00 and rebuilt 2 boxes. I got a new Intel MB with a 2.4GHz P4, a new video card, new DVD RW, new floppy drive, new Seagate 80G hard drive, and 1G of RAM for the backup box, and for my main box I got a new case, new Intel MB (for my existing 3.2GHz P4). I cloned my hard drive for the backup box which saved a ton of time. I'm still not finished setting everything up, but I think by next weekend everything should be back to normal.
Net access has also been iffy at best which has prevented me from spending any serious time here at my site. Hopefully this week I'll get the opportunity to take down all the Fred stuff and restock the jukebox with some new tunes.
AUSTRALIA’S new prime minister Kevin Rudd will mark his arrival on the international stage by announcing the withdrawal of his country’s combat troops from Iraq and signing the Kyoto treaty on climate change.
Rudd, a republican and former diplomat, swept to power as his Labor party stormed to a landslide victory in yesterday’s elections.
